January 26, 201511 yr Anyone else use them ? We had young kids with us so gave them a go. Was good to be fair, organised queues so they had space for say 8 coaches at a time with separate queues for each. Parked just down from Arkles and went in that family area round corner for a few beers. Coming back we dropped off at ground by about 10 to 9. Would nt want to do it every week but beat driving over and fucking about with parking.
January 26, 201511 yr coach 39 for me. It was alreet too, i managed to sink a few before in fanzone, we were dropped off about an hour before kick off went to that fanzone thingy they have behind the stand, my pals lads played footy, we had a few ales. It served a purpose!
January 26, 201511 yr Anyone on the coach on the East Lancs that broke down?? There was a rumour that Eidur's mum was on that coach
January 26, 201511 yr There was a rumour that Eidur's mum was on that coach I heard the same thing. Apparently she was hoping to experience the day from the fans point of view. Welcome to our world! :-)
January 26, 201511 yr It was well organized, the pick up especially. Take for granted the facilities we have at Reebok sometimes, massive car park to operate 'park and ride' type service. Apart from twatting a bollard on way out of car park everything went smoothly and must have been among first back. Two lads (bevvied) did try to blag their way on coming back but when they saw it was full, mumbled something about being on wrong number and went to try their luck elsewhere. Hope they managed it
January 26, 201511 yr as we trundled from lime street to oxford road at about 5 stations per minute for 3 hours, i wished i was on them coaches
January 26, 201511 yr Author as we trundled from lime street to oxford road at about 5 stations per minute for 3 hours, i wished i was on them coaches Aye as drove off Macron at 9 seemed a decent idea. Kids thought it was a treat. Pretty sure we were first back.
January 26, 201511 yr We went in a mini bus, he dropped us off at the park gates & then parked right at the lights by the last bus. I must admit I thought fair play seeing as the fanzone was open too for a pre match beverage.

January 26, 201511 yr he also stopped after about 8 miles so we could have a piss and get more beers, and then stopped again on the East Lancs for another piss stop. Well, we don't have the bladders we used to Plus, we ensured we stopped at the cheapest pub in the world
January 26, 201511 yr Well, we don't have the bladders we used to Plus, we ensured we stopped at the cheapest pub in the world How much for 2 becks and a bud? Or was it the other way round? You were loving them karaoke brothers as well. :-D
January 26, 201511 yr I used to live in Tuebrook so know my way round. You can't park anywhere near Anfield, it's all resi parking. Even when there are no resis. Or they don't have cars. We parked the other side of Queens Drive, pointing straight at the East Lancs. Trip to Maccie D's on the way back, prob got back same time as the coaches.
January 26, 201511 yr How much for 2 becks and a bud? Or was it the other way round? You were loving them karaoke brothers as well. :-D serial killers, I have no doubt about that. P.S. Did your carer eventually find your coat?
January 26, 201511 yr How much for 2 becks and a bud? Or was it the other way round? £4.50 - bargain!
January 26, 201511 yr Coach 40? Yep should have worn my Steelers bobcat and said Hi. Was good trip with lad
January 26, 201511 yr serial killers, I have no doubt about that. P.S. Did your carer eventually find your coat? Yes they did fotunately, as we left, it had telekinetically jumped to the other end of the room! Good job, was considering ringing Gonch for counselling on coat loss and SJM for another copy of the CD that was in the pocket! £4.50 - bargain! So how much was a bottle of bud?
January 26, 201511 yr good job there was a load of Coaches really because the trains were still rammed full of Bolton leaving Liverpool at 10pm. swayed from side to side all of the 11 stops. I think 3 people got off the train in total at the 10 stops before Wigan.
