No fucker should have to walk that far & it was pretty much the only option. Maybe if they put match day buses on from the town centre they'd get more of the retards to go. LW, while still in Witherspoon's, told me you and he were getting a taxi to the ground. I assume walk was the better option? Quote

If walking from Wigan town centre to the ground is a problem i really think you need to get fit.Have you tried walking from Rochdale to the ground or Oldham to the ground at all .Thats a normal walk for healthy people. I once walked it from Horwich to Sharples in the early hours after the Travel club buses dropped us off at Horwich rather than Bolton after a 4-0 defeat at Portsmouth on a midweek night. Although we were ordered to weave our way through outer Mongolia industrial estates it was quite pleasant and passed quite quickly First Guinness back in Harrys Bar was much needed refreshment stop though.
