Featured Replies

Not seen live one's running about for ages, think last time was up Tongue Moor in 95. On Thursday in Astley, at the Damhouse, they were just scuttering about all over on the pond, big fuckers. Don't bother me, but my mam fucking hates them.

I love your random subject generator

I saw one about 15 minutes ago...

KFC, one the size of a cat.

Grim..

impossible to keep them away, we used to get loads at Screwfix due to the nearby stream

My mam as always been squemish about rats, i told her they wont harm you. Just dont show you are frightened otherwise, they will go for your throat. :D

Last time I saw one, and I saw more than one, was Abram. Wigan must be fucking full of them.

Lots in Chinatown

There's a rat in my kitchen.

We used to be plagued by them as we live next to the cemetery, the last couple of years they have been overtaken by squirrels, a nastier little vermin than a rat, I do enjoy shooting them

What are you going to do?

I see them regularly early morning around the town centre Morrison's.

Just got rid of an infestation in the street as it goes, houses have voids underneath from base to floorboards , the fuckers got into the cavity wall and knawed through the plasterboard. Even ran up the cavity and got out in the bathroom by knawing the slightest gap in the wall where the waste pipe goes. I killed two in my house, which were baby ones, but still big, one in a trap and the other was docile from poison so just hit it . The neighbour up the street had what we presume was the mother, rats as big as cats is not an exageration , stems from a stupid bint feeding squirrels and pigeons by throwing food out onto the grass and a hole in the wall where they got in further up then just started to live in the voids , she then died so the food ran out do they started exploring for more apparently and ran down the street

Talking to the lad from the council, there is a huge increase in the numbers over the last year with every area reporting problems every week , constant battle with them

Have them in the roof space at work, one leapt down onto a lads shoulder when he was making a brew.

He ran out screaming like a girly, i just went in and kicked it to death, but every so often you can hear them scuttling about overhead

what are cats like with rats? are they a decent deterrent?

Get them regularly in the garage but that's country living for you.

the bullying wankers are alright giving it large to field mice. I've spotted them and sent them on their way but I bet they're no longer ten cats when face to face with a rat.

Yeah, thats what I thought. that they wouldnt do anything faced with large Rats.

don't see em these parts, the locals, foxes, badgers, weasels, stoats, carrion crows, barn and tawny owls all eat em....in no particular order!

We need more Owls then?

The Rat in the video came out and bit that Cat twice. It could have stayed hidden. It suggests that Rats arent cowards, as they are sometimes said to be.

That was a vicious attack, perhaps because it had young Rats nearby. If that video was filmed in someones house it shows the Cat scarpered.

My cat kills rats, big ones. Then leaves them on my pillow

If there's any spare female tawny owls there's a horny lad one opposite me been shouting for a shag for days on end now. You can keep your foxes and badgers though, tossers.

There's fuck all wrong with Badgers

Moody cunts, but handy to have around in a ruck.
