I'm guessing that if it's true, it will all disappear into years of legal wrangling, but does anyone know if there's any truth to it.

Think the £58m was based on what fine would be from previous years losses. Not sure they lost as much last year but figures were massaged by shareholders writing off £60 m loan. If they get away with it, it opens up a can of worms.

There's something going on behind the scenes because in the studio yesterday after they got a good dicking the "experts" including Glen Hoddle who was there last season kept saying stuff like "they need to get there house in order behind the scenes or i can see them dropping out of the Championship next season as well" which i thought was an odd thing to say
