Please can you make sure you spell check your posts - I don't think it is 'The Count' :)

Ha I've heard as much. Talking to a fella who was living in the same area a good few years ago. Reckons he's intolerable and put all his winnings in the fruit machine in the club after winning the title. Didn't buy a soul a drink but why should he?

Most of your top pdc men now were bdo a few years ago. Granted you rarely get to see a 9 dart leg but it's still a good standard. One or two always go far in the grand slam. Seems to be more for the purists these days and I love it. Rather go to the Lakeside and sit with darts fans than go to Ally Pally with a load of clueless drunk stag doers singing about the toure brothers and thinking anybody with a bald head is van gerwen.

I don't half talk shit. This is fucking soul destroying.

Against the grain I have to cheer on Lewis as I have dough on him

And he's English I suppose

I've not played darts for years, but u reckon I could, with a week or so of practice, get to the Q/F of that competition. They are fucking dogshit. Do they ever manage to close out a leg in less than 15~16 darts?

Go and do it then if it is so easy.

????????????????

I can't be bothered, you're not telling me that you're watching this lot and thinking it's good quality.

What I do know is that some bloke on a forum who says he can get to the QF's with one weeks practice is talking bollocks.

The PDC clearly have the cream of the talent, money talks.

However, as I've said on an earlier thread, the BDO is the breeding ground for most of the PDC players. In football terms It is like the football league is to the premier league.

Norris and Bunting are the latest to make the switch and they seem to be holding their own.

You don't know how good I am, I once got 140 with three darts and I checked out on 52 once.

I have seen sweep play and think he is underestimating himself. He could make the semi finals if he cut out his diva like tantrums:)

Not exactly a top cv.

I'd give yourself an extra weeks practice.

The only issue with this is he's never left Haliwell so they need to move the world championships there

If they do that, I'd have him as top 4 for sure. If his coach Ernie gets him really going, possibly a finalist

It definitely doesn't help coming straight after the PDC latter stages where 100+ averages and nine dart legs are flying about.

Ted Hankey having a mild tantrum with 88.2 is not comparable.

Maybe I'm a darts snob or not a real fan but watching BDO is like watching non league football.

It's fucking crap. The standard is crap and everything about it is totally crap IMO. Just looks like fat lesbian blokes drinking beer and throwing sticks at a board whilst their fat lesbian wives drink stout. It's bollocks.

Van gerwin v Barney the other night says it all.

All IMO of course :)

Not so much a breeding ground anymore.

Youth Tour and Challange Tour on the PDC circuit are now taking over

Youth tour and challenge tour maybe will be productive in time but Norris and Bunting are ready to win things immediately.

The BDO is still the best preparation at the moment.

If Bunting or Norris win a PDC major I'll tug sweep off

Anderson is all over the shop, wtf is he doing? Still winning mind.

If Bunting or Norris win a PDC major I'll tug sweep off

You would have said the same about Anderson a few years ago when he switched codes.

Norris got to the quarters in his first world championship. Not exactly miles off although the top four are a class above.

He was in the easy quarter of the draw, don't forget

If Bunting or Norris win a PDC major I'll tug sweep off

Fingers crossed then

i turned the bdo off about 8pm

two women were ready to start

have they finished?

Which is the one where you've got pub players getting scores of 17 and finishing in double 1 after 83 darts?
