Never expected that!

My argument is:

 

He wasn't innocent - he should go.

 

He genuinely was innocent and didn't know what was taking place - he's clearly incompetent and should go.

 

Either way, in no other organisation in the world would Blatter still be in charge. But FIFA reform doesn't start and stop with Blatter going it is far bigger than that. Time to take a stand.

I think Gonzo had the inside on this, Blatter would never have resigned unless the gud ol USA had somat on him. They have then either told him to do the honourable thing or more likely told Visa , Coke McDon' and Bud to put pressure on.

Rememeber 4 of those sponsors are American, so you've got to wonder if they have had a visit from the DOJ or are worried that they will get one

Perhaps they would of done but can't see McDonald's coca cola or what not making any sort of naughty payments. (Not suggesting you meant this) so can't see them being issued by it.

It could be anyone from any of those company’s anywhere in the world and it would fall under US law.

I don't think the payments from sponsors are the issues are they. It's more where this money goes when it hits Zurich towers isn't it?
