August 21, 201511 yr mate of mine here is 46. engaged to a 20yo he works shit loads of hours, paying for pretty much everything including expensive holidays, and soon to be funding 4 years at university I think it's genuine for her, but she doesnt seem that driven and dont think she has the personality to have a successful career. So in 20 years time when he's probably after retiring, he can't. Oh yeah, he's on about raiding his pension at 50 (I'm sure he cant until 55 anyway) so they can buy a home.
