I need to get involved with NFL again, but need to choose a team. Was always a Dan Marino Miami Dolphins shirt wearing kid, but need some advice.

Which team is it worth following? Thinking about going down to Wembley to watch a game - anyone done it? Any help welcomed. Could just stick with the Dolphins and get tickets off Stub Hub for their game against New York Jets the day after the QPR game.

Which are the Liverpool/Man Utd of the NFL world to avoid?

Have you ever watched a college game mate? A top one involving some of the big outfits like the Aggies, Seminoles, Badgers or Spartans etc.?

Might ease you into NFL as it is a lot more entertaining and fast moving. Only a suggestion.

I did catch some in the TV whilst over there and did prefer it but couldn't understand why. My logic was it can't be as good as the NFL as they not professional.

Going to give the college game a bit more airing

Cheers

It's on BT Sport on saturdays,

The pre game show on ESPN is always an interesting watch and they have knowledgeable pundits running the through the upcomming games.

There used to be an excellent show on a sunday rounding up the previous days action but the fucked about with it last year and it wasnt as good.

Well, as usual I will be hoping the Packers can add to their 'Titletown' list and the Badgers make a Bowl (preferably the Rose Bowl) game.

who do we fancy this year chaps?

Patriots and Dallas/Green Bay Super Bowl for me. Pats to win it and Brady to retire possibly

College football is immense. Watching Ohio state game right at this moment. Bliss

Falcons this year for me. Hope it's the Redskins but can't see it

Aye, I'll be happy when we are right back into the season. Some of the trick plays and 'Hail Mary' drama moments are incredible.

My mate is a Michigan fan and I like to send him this video every so often to wind him up plus it sums up the bonkers stuff that happens in college ball.

You knew I had that one in mind! That was an incredible finish.

Not paid any attention to the NFL for well over 15 years. Followed the Stealers since it was on C4 with the Nasty Boys. Anyway, I had an epiphany and realised this sport is nearly as boring as RL so I fucked it off.

I'm going to give it a go this season so I've picked another team to follow. The interwebs random NFL team picker, yes it does exist, gave me Denver Broncos.

You may as well stop watching it again if that's your team to follow. If you think wanderers lack creativity going forward wait until you see denvers offence.

Someone like the falcons or cardinals would be a good choice in my opinion for someone looking for a team to start to follow as both will score plenty points and be competitive.

Its random so i couldn't care less.

The fact you stopped watching it as you thought it was boring and are about to follow a boring team would suggest you will

To be fair Von Miller will provide plenty of entertainment on the other side of the ball.

Aye for a purist but as a team for excitement Denver with their offense being as weak as it appears won't provide much.

Fancy getting into it this year

What's the best round up of the weekends action? Do the BBC still do one with Colin Murray?

Just need to pick a team to 'have an interest in'. I Did the Sky thing and it said Pats, however ideally the team will be based on a place that I will visit again so I'm thinking NYC, California or Florida based teams...

Gets me down to...

LA - Chargers or Rams

SF - 49 ers

Florida - Buccs or Dolphins

NYC - Giants

Any suggestions from that lot, not sure if any of them are decent or not

Of those the Giants stand the most realistic chance of doing well this season.

Long term the Bucs have an excellent young quarter back and decent players throughout the team. The Rams are similar standing but about 2yrs behind the buccs

The Niners and Dolphins are a mess at the moment.

The chargers are an average side but their powder blue jerseys are a thing of beauty.

If you've got Sky, redzone on a Sunday is superb.

Choose the Jets. They're a bit shit but it's a weekly opportunity to moan with the odd victory to maintain hope.

A bit like a team not too far from here...

This video sums up the Jets perfectly.

Birch - out of that lot, pick the Giants mate. Frank's reet.

Thanks gents

Will struggle to get to watch on Sundays, was hoping for an hour round up on catch up at some point

A bit like revisits de la liga, I rarely watch Spanish games but I will catch the round up at some point

The bbc show is brilliant and will show all the highlights.

Back to College Football, we are getting FSU Seminoles at Alabama Crimson Tide in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A match up and a half for week one! One not to be missed. Expecting some fireworks in that one.
