Just had a meeting on Churchgate. Sad to see the Bolton News offices empty. And in a week or two the Travel Counsellors building opposite will be empty. Another 200+ people spending approx £20 per week on parking and lunches in the town... plus whatever other services they spend their hard-earned on - all being lost. Very sad state of affairs.

 

When will it get better? Should these empty offices be turned into apartments?

It's quite hard to plan this fantasy move in my head tbh. A lot of factors would be at play. House prices, the house itself, access to green spaces, distance from work, crime rate of the area etc. etc. It's hard to make a decision just yet. Can you leave it with me a bit longer love? 

I've lived in majority Asian areas in Manchester before and in Bristol for stints. Both were pretty happy periods of my life with no bother from any neighbours. Also been to Pakistan twice with the British Council and stayed with a Muslim colleagues family. 100% brown faces out there pal, you'd have had a fckin panic attack and probably wet your BNP branded undies getting off the plane.
