Just had a meeting on Churchgate. Sad to see the Bolton News offices empty. And in a week or two the Travel Counsellors building opposite will be empty. Another 200+ people spending approx £20 per week on parking and lunches in the town... plus whatever other services they spend their hard-earned on - all being lost. Very sad state of affairs.

 

When will it get better? Should these empty offices be turned into apartments?

No,  I was born in Daubhill  (Ribblesdadale Road) and moved to  Morris Green later. It's predominantly Asian these days.

Then to back up that accusation it’s because it was soon after a BF tweet. When was the BF tweet and what was the context? I’ve often posted their tweets to highlight what fkin idiots they are. I think it was the bit where he said it was because those areas were now full of Muslim /non-whites. 

They were probably lower class areas full of cheap housing in the first place, that's why they are now full of Asians.

I wouldnt live there for all the tea in China. Its s hell hole full of Albanian drugs gangs, English smack heeds and Muslim folk hanging washing up in the street.
