Do you still knock about with people who believe the Holocaust was a hoax?

Not after I found out his views .

Do you still have those rape fantasies

More edits than a Hollywood script

Looks like Spider was the winner, judging by your diversionary tactics as always

He was right in 2 ways for the record

Never had a rape fantasy. Also never been chummy with Holocaust deniers and Nazis. Each to their own though, eh.

You were still knocking about with the Holocaust-denying Nazi in 2022. His beliefs were well-known at least 4 years earlier, and he wasn't exactly shy about them.

Yes.  I took him by face value. Have I knocked about with him since ?

Now this is hard for you...a simple yes or no ?

And as an extra....do you stalk me ? Again, a simple yes or no ?

The evidence you provided say yes

First of all, I’m a shit fan.

Second day and it’s been great. Had a chat with Josh Bohannon, met loads of people I hadn’t seen for years and saw two great bands. Appy Mondays and Northern Soul Train. I doubt there will be a better act than the Soul Band this festival. Sorry about the result.🤷‍♂️

Had a gander today for an hour or so. If I lived in Bolton I reckon I could have a great afternoon/early evening with food, drink and bands. The setup for that is superb. For an in and out visitor I wasn’t overly impressed. Got my coffee beans and some cheese but that was it. We went to the market on the way out and spent a shed load on mutton and fish. Have to say Bolton’s food market is way ahead of Bury these days. Will be a regular visitor from now on. The halal butchers have some interesting offerings and the fish stalls are beyond compare

That’s a fair assessment. Bolton is a big town with a big population. The fact that people who live in the town are visiting is a big plus, seriously. For many reasons, I know lots of people in the town and many I’ve met over the last couple of days haven’t been there since the last Festival. It’s great that it brings in people from further afield but I’m just happy that locals are enjoying and supporting it.

Aye. It was a lot busier than I’ve seen it for the last few years. Looked like there was a lot for folk who were there for a good few hours. Fair play. If it gets people into the town centre then that’s good. You’d hope the council take that as a blueprint on how to get the place busy again. Shopping’s gone. It’s retail parks and online. Get the town centre as primarily a recreational place to eat and drink rather than shop. The type of shops can then emerge that support that scene. Perhaps?

When this gaping hole appears, there will be a walkway through to Bradshawgate with boards either side.

Sounds like an ideal place for beggars, layabouts, and folk with nothing better to do, to hang about.

Bit of a captive market for those scrounging cash.

The council really have to get the replacement for the arndale sorted in quick time- not the years it is expected to sit there with next to fuck all happening.

I do like the market side of things though

Today was the busiest I've seen the town centre in over 30 years. Absolutely packed and a lovely atmosphere around the place.  I've spent about 80 quid on 40 quids worth of food but that's ok.

😁

The festival effect.

Had considered popping along, but not doing now with covid.

Yep. Great to see. Same here with the purchases but if we didn’t buy, they wouldn’t come. I was at the Clitheroe Food Festival a couple of weeks ago and I saw 5 stalls who were there also. Same prices so as TMGJ says, festival prices but I know a couple of the stall holders and they have to cover their costs. I’m happy to pay a little extra to support a great event.
ps. The black pudding scotch eggs are superb.

I may have told this story before but my best memory of the festival was in 2019 and the Headingly Test. I’d spent the morning walking and  listening to TMS on the last day of that memorable match. I ended up in the crescent in my own little world with the pods in.
I kept seeing people who I know and I just wanted to listen to the match.
I eventually ended up in the Vaults and with a pint and a seat, I settled down to listen to the final stages.
When Stokes smashed that four, I lept up and cheered. Half the people were startled, including the young girl singing but the other half knew.

The young girl singing by the way realised later as she went to school with my youngest and played cricket in the school team with him.
Great day.

We were in Carlisle that day. Vividly remember taking the other half over the table and making her gasp like mad for breath

Yes, she was caught behind
