Nice one mate.

The modern day Fisher (mum’s side) have quite a striking resemblance to the Bolton Tonto branch, but they only don the obligatory feathers and costumes once a year for show :D

Incredibly he is incapable of showing any compassion and forget any thoughts of him showing any moral leadership. His marriage must be sold cold

He's a full on sociopath, I think even those who love him would admit that

I am reminded of this. Before any Snopes Dope poo-poo's it, yes, I know it was written on Jobs' behalf.

Steve Jobs died a billionaire at age 56. This is his final essay:

I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. In some others'
eyes, my life is the epitome of success. However, aside from work, I have
little joy. In the end, my wealth is only a fact of life that I am
accustomed to. At this moment, lying on my bed and recalling my life, I
realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in
have paled and become meaningless in the face of my death. You can employ
someone to drive the car for you, make money for you but you cannot have
someone bear your sickness for you.

Material things lost can be found or replaced. But there is one thing that
can never be found when it's lost -

Life. Whichever stage in life you are in right now, with time, you will face
the day when the curtain comes down. Treasure love for your family, love for
your spouse, love for your friends. Treat yourself well and cherish others.

As we grow older, and hopefully wiser, we realize that a $300 or a $30 watch
both tell the same time. You will realize that your true inner happiness
does not come from the material things of this world. Whether you fly first
class or economy, if the plane goes down - you go down with it. Therefore, I
hope you realize, when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and
sisters, who you chat with, laugh with, talk with, have sing songs with,
talk about north-south-east-west or heaven and earth, that is true
happiness! Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy.

So when they grow up they will know the value of things and not the price.
Eat your food as your medicine, otherwise you have to eat medicine as your
food. The One who loves you will never leave you for another because, even
if there are 100 reasons to give up, he or she will find a reason to hold
on. There is a big difference between a human being and being human. Only a
few really understand it. You are loved when you are born. You will be loved
when you die. In between, you have to manage!

The six best doctors in the world are sunlight, rest, exercise, diet
. self-confidence and friends.
Maintain them in all stages and enjoy a healthy life.

Talking of silence....

Hardly surprising is it? The hypocrites of the left have perfected this art. Not a new phenomenon. We had the Downunder Lizard here - Paul Keating years ago. Brothers in arms, red flag singing, scrap the monarchy Labor PM. Turned out he had a multi million dollar piggery which only became common knowledge after he'd retired from politics.

Still, the gullible got to wear their red rosettes and postively glow when he declared an election win as "a victory for the true believers". The crowd retired to bars to celebrate with middies of Tooheys New.  He went to a Bollinger Black Label champagne celebration.

Well, that's nice

How amusing that a relationship with a chancer reality TV star president could be the one to finally bring down the leader of the free wo... I mean, ultimate chancer reality TV star president. "Sad!"

But then, when you have millions of followers who choose to believe everything they're told by Fox News and dismiss rational discourse as 'fake nooos', it's quite likely that the Teflon President will wriggle out of this once again.

Bring down? A tad premature I think. Even senior Democrats are openly expressing their misgivings about impeachment proceedings.

Remember when they tried to impeach Clinton?

A lot of water to flow under the bridge yet - Bidon's interests in Ukraine will come under more intense scrutiny also.

Don't ejaculate prematurely. You could just be left looking stupid with cardboard grundies and a dry cleaning bill.

Apart from put some fencing up, and meet Kim Jong-un for a photograph, has he actually done anything other than Tweet, play golf and try to defend himself against countless allegations of everything from rape to treason?

Even if he’s innocent, he gets fuck all time to do any actual Presidenting and should for everyone’s sake give it up as a shit job.

Yep, foreign investment and subsequent job creation. Of course he's had to defend himself over and over again due to the kind of actions that repulsive silicone and Botox gutterslag Pelosi is now trying it on with. Predicting she will fail.

When the time comes, Americans will vote from their hip pocket nerve. That will be the test. If they are doing well, four more years is a big possibility.

Foreign investment?

where/how much? I honestly don’t know.

i thought he was just adding tariffs to all imports as part of his big sulk.

He promised to eliminate the national debt in 8 years but all he has done with his £1.5 trillion tax give away is hike the national debt to £22 trillion or 80% of GDP. Economists expect that the national debt will be 50% higher by 2025 (if he stays in office) than it was when he was elected in 2016.

He hasn't regenerated the jobs in the rust rust belt he promised. He has not made the progress he likes to think he has on the international front other than damage the world's economy with trade wars and taking Iran/Middle East to the brink. His base will lap up his rhetoric but dig beneath the surface and he has taken the US back decades in terms of their standing in the world.

I've just got back from 10 days in China, it's safe to say that some of the people I visited are being badly hurt by the US/China trade war. The product type that I'm involved with now has a 30% tariff when entering the US, so they've obviously seen their sales drop through the floor. A few of the shrewder companies all ready have facilities in Taiwan, so they just do the final assembly from there and ship out the the US from Taiwan, which eliminates any issues. It is causing a problem, it's safe to say they don't like Trump too much over there

Trump did a lengthy monologue yesterday about hitting the Chinese hard with high import tariffs on their goods. He claims out has driven the US citizens to purchase similar products where the tariffs aren't so high or are home-built.

He also said he wants China to stop allowing the rest of the world to do all the development of products and then have China steal all the plans and patents and produce their own versions.

I can't disagree with him that China are not playing fair in world commerce.

I was watching all this on BBC World News while getting ready to go out last night so am paraphrasing.

I think that's a bit unfair these days, certainly 10 years or so ago, it was a big problem, and no doubt some of it goes on now, but they're certainly leading the way in some design and technology, and I'd expect that to continue to increase over the coming years.

Another way of stopping (or at least slowing) them "stealing" plans and ideas is to stop asking them to do the manufacturing of the products in the first place

I agree that China has got away with so much over time and there needs to be redress but there are better ways to crack that problem than damaging the world's economy in the process.

And there's the issue. What's a bit of industrial espionage between friends?

indeed....it goes on all over the place, I see it between companies over here in the UK, on a day to day basis. I was actually threatened with legal action myself on this a few months ago (of course, I was squeaky clean and nothing came of it)

Another reason the Chinese used to love to clone things, is that us lot here in the West wanted cheap copies - so it's actually a problem that is ultimately driven by the consumer, which is why it will always be an issue to some extent.
