Johnson has had 693 days in power.
During that time he’s had a pandemic and Brexit to handle. Let’s judge him and his government in a couple of years time.

If a better alternative is there, I’ll be the first in the queue to vote for them.

Can you recommend anyone at the moment?

He said Brexit would be a piece of piss (oven ready) so any problems there are tough shit I’m afraid.

The pandemic he’s done ok with apart from the money being given to mates, and that will come back to haunt him.

Right now, I’d rather have Raynor. Or Mickey Mouse.

Why, have we a despot somewhere in the world who needs to feel the wrath of the UK armed forces on some trumped up idea they may have stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction?

Oh aye, he's not for everyone and Iraq did for him but he's the only leader we've had since Thatcher who had any kind of gravitas and grasp of domestic issues.

Do you think there's any chance Blair might come back? By Christ, we could do with him.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, a credible opposition is vital for the democracy of this country. I’ve voted for three different parties. The only tIme I voted Labour was when Blair was in charge.
The middle ground in politics is what determines any election. (in the U.K.)

Ideology is for the fringes. Left or right.

The (silent) majority always wins.

It does

And maybe the silent majority got what they deserved.

Just like Brexit? You put your little cross in that box confident that you’ve made the right decision. You get what you deserve.

Yep.

It’s important to acknowledge a mistake if you’ve made one.

Seems less stressful than digging your heels in and defending a shit decision.

Anyone who says they get everything right is either a simpleton or a murderer. The rest of us aren’t perfect.

Old Creepy Joe doesn’t seem to be doing as well as people had hoped. One of his main campaign pledges was to get a grip of covid….he isn’t doing to well with that.

At least he hasn't suggested necking domestos yet.

Yep. And as you agree. You get what you vote for. That’s democracy.

I didn’t vote for this shitshow though.

And I’m being kind describing it as such.

Its a tawdry, deeply despicable government we have. The rest of us deserve better.

We've a strange version of democracy though. Generally most people don't get what they vote for.

I’m sure you said you voted for Chris Green? Anyway, it doesn’t matter. Some people vote one way, some the other. It’s the same the world over. Nothing to get worked up about.

First time around I did. Not the second.

As an addendum, we did in the Referendum. (For those who could be bothered to vote)

I voted remain.

The alternative is?

Possibly a zany idea, but maybe the people we elect could stop acting like bloated rodents.

Even Mounts -Mounts - has found this weeks episode of The Only Way is Tory to be uncomfortable and disturbing.

You know then that all is not well.

God knows.

PR maybe?

Germany still doesn’t have a Chancellor, despite their elections being in September and America has Joe Biden. Putin is there till he decides otherwise, the Czech’s have a coalition government that includes the Pirate party and ……… well, we still have the best democratic process in my opinion.

We do

and that’s why yesterday was such a fucking disgrace. Abusing a system that they have been elected to defend and represent.

it shows their true colours. They’re giving decent Tories a bad name.

It was wrong, I agree. The fact that they’ve backtracked is why our system works. They got it wrong and they are making amends, hopefully. How many political systems in the world could say the same?

And it is being gradually dismantled before our very eyes. Yesterday was just a more blatant example than most, hence the massive U-turn.

They’d have gotten away with it but for those meddling voters kicking up a stink too

It would seem that the Republicans are willing to die to own the libs.

They dont want to take the vaccine but are quite willing to listen to Bob the builder on facebook when he tells them hes found a cure , just to own the libs
