    just that when he came to us he was overweight - though I always thought he was a league goal away from going on a good run

     

    gary linekar did fuck all except inside the 6 yard box

     

    was it Van Nisteelrooy who never scored a goal from outside the box? i.e. he spent all his time in the box

     

    on the other hand, SKD hardly ever scored but was one the best forwards we've had

     

    maybe that sort of player is a luxury we can't afford at this level / under our current manager (i.e. his style of play)

     

    can't see him and clough playing in the same team

     

    but there's nowt wrong with having a goal scorer in the side even if they offer fuck all else
