I think they also sell car parking season tickets to train goers, they won't like that.

Where do you think Wayne Walker was getting all the broken meat from?

I never went in the place, was it one of them places that does offers like 300 frozen chicken drumsticks for £2.99, and 12 Gammon Steaks for £3.99?

What was so bad about it?

Will the closure affect the "Sausage or Bacon Barm" for £1 (all day, every day) deal?......as at that price, I'm sure the meat isn't of the greatest standard

The railways station should purchase it and turn it into a car park otherwise it's a missed opportunity.

That site was earmarked for a multi storey once upon a time.

That whole side of Bradshawgate up to Great Moor Street was due for flattening and development.

More examples of the council dragging their feet since the recession

When I was a young skinhead I remember having a barney with my mum over an unwashed favourite shirt...She told me to do it mesen and pissed off out, anyhow, after a right palaver, including spilling loads of washing powder on the floor, I managed to get it clean and pressed. Thought I looked the bollocks in it as I admired my efforts in those mirrors as I strutted past...

Dodgy meat isn't a problem to obtain in these parts!

I disagree, first it was Syds, then the Scotch Meat shop, now Wayne Walkers...

When that place on Newport Street where they do the shouting shuts up shop it's goodnight Vienna for the town centre.

Why don't they just move the one on Crown Street there as a costcutting measure? If that isn't big enough they could also move the spare land from the Odeon and the college...Problem solved.

Before it was Wayne Walkers, am I right in thinking it was a weird Asian owned shop that sold shit shirts and lamps?  -  World of Fashion?

A mystery why that shut, the amount of burgeoning Tony Montanas in town...
