I will literally piss my sides when the great unwashed scouse cunts drive Sam out, the most delusional set of fuckwit fans ever.

  • aye   look at where he took us from and where he got us too and the situation we found ourselves in   you can bang on about the likes of Cid, McCann and Samuel, but look at the others he did great

Is it ok to now give Phil Gartside some credit for those signings? Without him Eddie D wouldn't of happened or any of the European ventures. Golden memories. Thanks P.G. RIP

He was appointed manager of Everton to do a job.

It wasn’t to win the league it was to stay in it. The board panicked and picked a proven manager and paid him a ridiculous amount of money to do it.

The abuse he’s getting is pathetic.

With his massive pay off, I very much doubt he gives a shit.

Vaz te assist for 2nd.

What’s he up to these days?

Chines Super League.

You all love scousers, and are obsessed with Everton.

Cute.

Nil Satis Nisi 7th place :)

Despite being sacked ,sam Allardyce has said a big thank you to the Everton fans for making him feel like one of them. UNEMPLOYED

He took over a ridiculously unbalanced playing squad that were hovering around the relegation places under a manager that the bluenoses thought was going to bring them Champions League football & guided them to 8th place...seems like a decent job done given a squad with no pace & a shitload of No.10s.

Personally I reckon if they had got their wish & got the mon from Watford to replace Koeman they would have finished in the bottom half at best.

Yes but by playing 'scientific' football. Get with the programme our la.

Actually Sams win % at Everton was 38%, Marco Silva career is 48%.

Koeman & Martinez % was higher than Sam.

But crack on.

Youve chosen to pick Sam's stats from his time at Everton. Yet compare it to Silva's whole career which included a spell at olympiakos in the Greek league, which is akin to managing Celtic in Scotland

Maybe for balance you could have posted his stats from his time at Hull. Given he left them in a lower position than when he took over

And as for booing a four nil home defeat, hull got beat 7-1 by Spurs at home

That bit where Stelios put the bloke on his arse without even touching the ball - oh aye!

Im not sure about Silva, if he is shite we just sack him and go again.

We have a DOF in place, so manager or 'Head Coach' is not as important as the old Manager system.

This may not work either, all risky tbh.

But we are curently "failing" anyway, so may aswell take more risks......risks backed with about £150 million spends.

Finishing 8th is not failing.

mate your 6th in the last 5 years overall. Palace are above you. the only teams who arent who you would expect are Liverpool and Spurs. so you are where you should be

spent £342m

recouped £216m

Net spend £126m

average a season of £25m

peanuts

you used the stats to suggest Silva was a better option than Allerdyce. Where as others were using facts to suit their argument

The fact that you say if Silva is shit, we sack him and go again says a lot. You sacked koeman and went again with Allerdyce. You sacked him and then are looking to go again

I suspect three or four years down the line it will be no better

I used 2 years for a reason. Thats when our new owners took over. The prev spening is irrelivant.

Maybe that will happen, probably a good chance.

Martinez & Koeman all delivered better than what Sam did....and they still got sacked.

Yet again more Everton talk fuck off

same old discussion though  :jump:

just because you have spent similar over 2 years than the teams your trying to catch doesnt mean you automatically will. Theyre spending that too along with the many years that you werent!

another 2 or 3 years of similar spend and you might just be there or thereabouts with them

Well thats the point.

Arsenal, Spurs & Chelsea may all struggle next season.....in terms of posible new managers. So that 4th - 6th could be wide open.

'May'  'Possible' and 'Could' ... what could possible go wrong

Rather fail trying, than give up and settle.

well with Silva's record of taking PL clubs backwards he could squeeze you in to 9th  :blum:

Take that if he can show progress in playing style, cups and squad blend & balance.

Yeah, Silva might have improved Hull initially but ultimately finished further from safety than they were when he took over. Last 3 games were just abject surrender.

Similarly at Watford he started well. Then got potted after his head was turned and then had 1 win in 11 games.

Fact is, he can't seem to stay in a job for longer than a year. Wouldn't be a long term appointment imo.
