So this £350million a week we now keep after Brexit

£49million to keep Albanian fruit pickers/car washers/rapists in 1 star hotels. In exchange for cheap labour

£200million a week for the NHS

£101million for changing signs to miles/pounds/inches/furlongs etc..

Who needs trade deals?

We could have saved that £350m by not handing out bent contracts to mates for PPE.

We've not to worry about such matters.

Any immigrant who enters UK without permission and starts work is acting illegally and can be sent to prison, call it what you want but for ease I will call them illegal immigrants.

And finally, his is from UK government website. It is illegal unless they claim Asylum which many don't they just disappear ILLEGALLY across the country.

The UK is also toughening penalties and introducing new criminal offences for people coming to the UK illegally. It will be a criminal offence to knowingly arrive in the UK without a valid entry clearance when one is required. You could face up to 4 years in jail and be removed to a safe country if you arrive illegally.

Which, by that very statement, means that if they arrive here and DO claim asylum then they’re legal 🤷🏻

if they arrive and just melt into society without seeing anyone ,then yes, they’re illegal then, but seeing as we are on about the ones we know about, the ones we process, put up in hotels and want to send to Rwanda, them ones are not illegal.

Even if they claim asylum it is not automatic that they are legal.

that statement reads to me that’s it’s about the future and not the now.

It’s Illegal to enter UK now without proper documentation, stronger penalties coming.

Those that are jumping off dinghy’s and are bailing out of trucks before blending into society are ilegal.

There’s 100s of thousands of illegals here in the U.K.

But as long as your cars clean who gives a fuck

Correct , if they bale and disappear, they’re illegal .
others that may have been on the same dinghy and claim asylum aren’t

Whether they are genuine or not will be determined after processing , when they become illegal if they stay .

It is an offence to enter the UK without going through the official routes, therefore those that don’t are illegal immigrants.

Bonkers to think you couldn’t get staff for £16 an hour yet some of these are working for little more than that in a day. I wonder why  🤷🏻‍♂️

Legally, you have to claim asylum in the first safe country you arrive in therefore unless you're jumping on a plane or a ferry that is travelling direct to the UK you are arriving illegally

There's some really lovely opinions on here parading as facts.

What are the official routes?
it’s not illegal to claim asylum even if you’ve traveled by an irregular route .

That isn’t true .

Those who arrive and then disappear without attempting to claim asylum. There are 100s of thousands here who’ve done exactly that.

As these people are arriving from France, which is in the EU, then by the Dublin regulation, it becomes true. They should have applied for asylum in the first eu nation they arrived in. This isn't happening, as we know.

If they arrived here direct from Africa for example then it wouldn't be the case.

It appears the government have updated their rules within the last few months (or possibly just the website) as the wording has changed from "claims won't be considered" to "claims might not be considered"

You also no longer have to claim asylum at a UK border (i.e at passport control) which also used to be the case.

It was definitely illegal (according to gov.uk) the last time this was brought up which isn't that long ago (<6 months)

It was from gov.uk but as I say above its been updated fairly recently

Refugee convention was1951

We just dont have a say anymore. The EU can happily pile them all up on the beach and let them float over dinghy by dinghy, truck by truck.

By leaving the EU we lost any fighting chance of it stopping.

Imagine a load of immigrants piled in from Greenland or summet now and wanted to get to France. We'd have em on every truck and train going south before they could buy a bacon butty.

Thing is, our gaff has never been any different. Been a landing base for all ans sundry for centuries.

We’re not in the EU , Dublin regulations no longer apply ( to people coming here )

and if they did, it was only an expectation that the first country would deal with them , not a law that the people themselves couldn’t keep going onwards as I understand it, but, it’s moot anyway as it no longer applies .

If you look on the very first pages of this subject, if it still exists I said at the time that leaving the EU would actually make it harder to stop immigrants ( as opposed to taking back control ) due to this .
