I like balanced and fair reporting, wonder why they couldnt find it to mention the support that is being given to Grimsby. Seems to me its a report just highlighting a left leaning biased reporting. Just a 2 minute google search might have offered a more balanced view.

Indeed, I have a major customer in Grimsby, and I think it's fair to say the place is getting a shit load of funding at the minute, in fact probably more than most other places in the UK

This type of reporting and the subsequent re-posts by folk who are politically leaning one way or the other pisses me off, give folk a fair and balanced piece of journalism to make a judgement call on and not a politically motivated pile of shite.

It quotes the funding in the piece, it does give a balanced view - it mentions the town centre funding, but bridge repairs do not put food on the table.

The piece is about how people are suffering at the most basic level. It anyone tries and defend this sort of shit show, I've got some magic beans to sell.

Also to add, it's probably received absolutely fuck all funding for the previous 50 years or so, so it was certainly overdue some, it's still pretty much a huge shithole. It was, apparently, the largest fishing port in the world just after the war (that's what I've been told anyway....even though it does sound pretty fanciful/incredible)  -  and they were promised that fishing and fish processing would be coming back once we left the EU.........which, as many have always said was never going to happen.
