It does, come on my good man. I know you like the one liner, but they have to make an actual point or raise an question that hasn't already been answered.

Unless you really don't understand, in which case, fair enough that's not your fault.

You seem incapable of ‘discussing’ with out getting personal. A bad trait.

I’ll re-word it, I can’t see BJ struggling to get 100 against 2 weak opponents. Both who lost to Truss in the last PM vote (regardless of who was voting them)

Here's a take on the previous selection: Rishi was always going to get through, but there was real fear that Mordaunt would also do, and would win.

Certain elements then tried to rubbish her, and at the same time actually voting for Truss to ensure Mordant didn't qualify for the last two.

Backfired though, as the membership weren't going to go for Sunak.

This time, Sunak will still have his backers, but if Boris decides not to bother (he has got a disciplinary hearing to come after all) then that could well suddenly land PM as the new PM.

Time will tell.

And nor should they.

If Labour do get in. It’ll be the first thing they mention. You can copy this for future reference.

You didn’t, you just threw a little hissy fit about BJ.

Then there really is no point chatting about it then.

But good on you for trying.

Ad hominem this, ad hominem that.

Possibly, but they shouldn't do now.

It's politics, not a university lecture hall.

IYou asked me before, did I think Johnson should go. I said yes but not now. That was earlier this year. Someone responded by saying anyone would be better than him. I said be careful what you wish for. The rest is history. The same applies to Labour.

It’s a trait of the left. It’s all Labour have.

Yeh. Fuck the facts.

Is that Conservative manifesto?

Insert global economic crisis into that and I can’t disagree with it. Labour seem unable to mention the word global economic crisis in any of their rhetoric.

As frustrating as that maybe, they're never going to do that.

It's been the Tory cost of living crisis etc etc for many months: chuck enough muck and it will stick, especially if your opponent has already partially shat themselves!

Looking at the world picture- Al Jazeera again- there are demonstrations/public unrest in South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and even reports of a protest in China (albeit perhaps on slightly different issues).

It's actually almost perfect for Labour now- keep shouting for an election, in the knowledge that one isn't forthcoming (at least not just yet), and should one then come along they've got a grace period if things don't improve rapidly, which they won't whilst Putin is still going at it.

Yeah, everyone of the centre left.

Play the point not the man, Boby, come on.

I know. It’s an open forum. 🤷‍♂️

We ain’t seen the Labour one yet so how anyone can say they will a better alternative is a mystery.

That's very true we haven't.

Nor have we seen the Conservatives.

As its two years to an election.

Doesn’t cheeses 13 year old video count?

I don't accept that we're all one side or the other on here.

I'd say the balance is decent.

Generally, it's opinions based on facts.

Today, white63 has added his distinctive weight to things by openly admitting the facts are irrelevant. He is, alas, part of a large number of people who vote based on nothing but 5 word headlines and "gut feelings" that are nothing more than a desire to win and grab the opportunity to gloat in the face of the 'losers'. Football mentality but nothing deeper or learned.

Aside from him and Bolty, I'd say the rest of us are at least capable of independent thought and (occasionally) reasoned debate.

If you want an idea - the open policy forum which ended in the summer's findings are coming out soon.

Ok. So you now think Johnson shouldn't have gone?

With football it makes sense.

I fucking hate Liverpool FC. Nothing they do will ever endear me to them. My mind is made up but the reality is that it's a bit of fun and has no impact on real life, nor does it involve choosing people who influence society.

white63 and Bolty cannot see politics beyond this model.

Such is democracy. Which they don't like or necessarily want, by the way.

At the moment I've rejoined the Labour party because I hate what the Conservatives have done over the last 12 years and the Corbynites have been sidelined.

So at this moment I'm certainly on one side as I want to see this morally defunct party out of government, so I am partisan currently.

I have voted tory, lib dem and even WEP at times depending on what I think of the current state of the political situation.

Exactly

white63 and Bolty wouldn't vote labour even if the tories had set fire to their houses and done a big curly shit in their hats.

No. I said at the time. I also said he should go before the end of his  term.
Without repeating myself, what we needed then and even more so now was stability.
