Not been upside down for a few weeks now and won't be for another couple of months. Still, trotting out a well worn one is always appreciated 👍 Quote
BobyBrno Posted June 11 Posted June 11 There are some wild claims out there by all parties but can someone explain this? Quote

And I've become more of a stoic in my middle age 😁 And I wouldn't necessarily describe myself as left leaning per se. More of a pragmatist 👍 Encouraging developments! TBF, you have displayed more of a willingness to consider the 'other side' over the years. Just like me really Quote

I suppose with 14 years in power, you weren't far off with the more significant emergence but there is no relationship between the two other than doves (Maggie called them wets) cynically moving with social trends. There has nobody been more wrong, more often than this Australian. Quote

I know what the reference is to. I don’t get how the Conservative Manifesto is going to add £4,800 to ‘your’ mortgage. It’s a number on the side of a bus type of politics. It’s from a woman who is going to be our next chancellor. I can understand the Tories getting desperate as they are so far behind but this is just nonsense. Quote

Focus groups/polling/research must be saying this stuff works, otherwise they wouldn't both be doing it. Quote

It was a couple of smallish lumps of concrete, lifted from a builder’s skip/bin. If you think that you can throw a paper or plastic coffee cup in a straight line for that distance then you’re an even bigger gobshite than I had you down for, Cheese. Throwing things at politicians, whether it’s a lump of concrete or a milk shake is totally unacceptable. That’s if it’s Farage, Abbott or anyone in between. It’s only a matter of time before some not right throws a cup of acid at a politician. It's quite clearly a milkshake, followed by an empty coffee cup that he picks out of a bin. You need your eyes testing, and maybe start lifting some weights. Edited June 11 by Cheese Quote

Haven't seen anything like this previously from Labour to be fair, but look at the above. What's your point? That the Tories are more prolific at it or some conspiracy stuff about the above being a false flag operation? Personally hope Labour don't go too far down this road. Quote

Ani Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Rumours that Farage has ducked out of the leader debate with BBC, that Rishi got battered in when it was his turn. There was a similar rumour about Starmer but this might be just as reliable. Quote
