Meh ... Good night on here lads?

Politics is the division.

They're all cunts

Sooner you realise that ... the better.

The new thing on here seems to be ... Just following what's said on Twitter ... What does that even mean?

Isn't that what those saying it are doing?

As for @miamiwhite ... What he does on twitter is something Special. It gives families, relatives, friends and colleagues comfort that those lost are remembered for their sacrifice.

Shite that it's used as a point scoring insult by one on here ... but that's what this site has become. Meh

Thank you for the kind words mate 👍

Today in East Kilbride, we met the father and twin brother of a chap from the Paras and Special Forces Support Group who was killed in Afghanistan, on ops to try and rescue a journalist from the New York Times. The journalist was rescued, sadly, Corporal John Harrison didn't make it home.

They acknowledged and truly appreciated what we do in remembering their son and twin brother

It's what we do ♥ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Ended up having a beer with Andy Burnham a couple of weeks back. Quite a nice bloke, we didn’t speak politics though so that’s probably why.

I didn't think much of him when he was Health Sec. and then he was caught fiddling but he does appear to have improved, especially as mayor... lends weight to more devolution... take them away from the Westminster cess pit and put them where they can be more effective.

The Mayor in Teeside seems to be doing well but does need to distance himself from certain developers

Was he really though. Or did he just give everyone a load of free money during COVID?

I recall the economy was doing quite well at the end of his tenure but events overtook him, he was never top man material but more indispensable financial support.

Rachel from accounts is a one trick pony, if it doesn't fit her algorithm she short circuits... no vision at all, in some ways we lost the wrong minister yesterday

We most certainly will. She can't 'super tax' the 'super rich' she's already driven out so who do you think she'll turn to? Be afraid.

If you want to take that 25% from your pension pot do it now

Of course they do pal.

If it gives just one person remembrance over a loved one then that's all that matters. You and most know that's not the case and many more appreciate what you do.

Keep commemorating those that deserve.

Folk like cheese would last seconds in a war. He'd be kitted up ... guns the lot.

But then he'd open his mouth and start asking the enemy questions before firing.

 "Prove you're the Taliban" etc

He might have been ok against the Germans because they're not brown.

The Teeside Mayor is dodgy as fuck and is mired in all sorts of scandal.

Thanks again mate 👍

John's dad and twin brother were actually overwhelmed and couldn't believe what we do, but were so appreciative of it. Like you say, if one person alone remembers then it means so much.

We passed on details of one of John's former comrades who've they've not seen since the funeral

Means so much to them ♥ 👪

We've a Bolton lad to remember in midweek, sad times 🙏 🌹

But overall, immigrants put more in than they take out.

Not doubting, but do you have any source of reference for this?

That's includes the cost of illegal folk too*

He's correct on legal immigration, though the 'official' figures for illegal immigration folk are a tad sketchly

Legal immigration and Illegal immigration are completely different.

You simply cannot compare the two.

Legal immigration is fine. It’s vetted, it’s monitored and I would imagine a benefit to the UK.

every single illegal immigrant costs us money. Every single one. That is just the truth.

Stop illegal immigration. I’d even vote reform if they said that’s what they’d do but then they’d fuck off away from parliament the day after.

I’d like to agree but many illegals (the majority) as far as I’m aware aren’t entitled to anything. They’re the ones who will be living 20 deep in a 3 bed house on lever edge lane whilst going out working illegally (car washes, nail gaffs etc).

Don't forget the HMO'S in Horwich 😉

Your chaps were referenced nicely today in East Kilbride 👍

But thats the issue. What is legal and illegal immigration? Its only done by cross border deals and working with our European partners. Which actually our new Foreign Secretary did as Home Secretary. But that just boring politics.

Stick some plastic flags up, shout from a car and problem solved.

Crikey, probably the most left leaning post I’ve written and you still don’t get it. Please explain my narrative. This should be fun as you’ve totally misunderstood my post.

It's not a daft narrative though is it.

We absolutely need proper migration btw.

It is - im so bloody bored of going on about immigration is not the biggest issue in the UK - despite what guff is being propagated.

6 home secs and 6 foreign in 5 years. Even if any had some degree of competence, they weren't given time.

Why the switch this time? If you are negotiating you need some consistency, once again the boss has changed things around to disguise the inherent incompetence. Total joke, but not funny.

In this brief conversation, who actually said immigration was the biggest issue ?

I'll give you a clue....it was you
