The same Farage who claims that the UK is becoming like North Korea, and is supressing free speech, and yet the party he leads has banned Nottinghamshire Live and the Nottingham Post from speaking to the 41 Reform Councillors at Nottinghamshire County Council?

And the same Nigel Farage who invited Dr Malhotra on stage last week at their Party Conference, who then proceeded to say "It's highly likely that the COVID vaccines have been a significant factor in cancer in members of the Royal Family"

 

He's a grifting crank.....who may well be in a proper position of power in the next 2-4 years - still, like the Americans, we get what we deserve if we vote him in.

The boats cannot and will not ever be stopped, unless the French do it. Once they get to that North Coast of France, they're coming here, like it or not.

And let's be honest, your recent record of calling people out for being "ace" isn't really that great, maybe it'll be 4th time lucky though I suppose

It's only going to get worse and worse, in or out of the ECHR as people try their hand at getting here.

What is the stuff they get here that they dont get in other EU countries?  It may have changed somewhat but a few years back the differences were negligible.  Certainly nowt that you'd be risking your life crossing the channel for.

They certainly get enough to make them come here don't they. Enough for them to pay thousands to smugglers to get here anyway. 

If you cut that off at source the land of milk and honey might not seem as attractive.

When I worked with asylum seekers, a few years ago now, their reasons and beliefs for carrying on to the UK were varied - better education, easier to find work, family connections, English speaking, the nearest European country in nature to the US etc etc.  I never met a one who came across because they thought theyd get free money, extra benefits than they'd get in Italy, Germany, France.

You dont think they're risking their lives, crossing one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world in often freezing temperatures? Those that have already died doing it haven't convinced you?

Is the promise of illegal work in the UK higher than in other parts of Europe? Maybe they don’t fancy the holding centres and instead fancy hotels. As for wanting to be near their family surely they know they don’t get a choice where they will be. English speaking you say, Why the need for so many interpreters? It’s not the nearest country to the US.

In all of this, we do also, to my mind, have to be careful not to lose sight that some people really are seeking asylum and do actually need help. It's these pesky economic migrants we need to get fucked off. Too many people just lump them all together.

Agreed... a hotel in England is a step up from a shanty tent on a Calais beach shitting in the bushes.

What gets me is how BBC and C4 can track down the smugglers and get them on camera but our own Government cannot... we have people used to operating behind enemy lines but they commit "illegal" actions by the nature of their work, and we prosecute them when they return from the likes of Afghanistan
