You are not Doris Stokes or Uri Geller Thank you Can you 100% prove you're not pissed at the moment, and the alcohol isn't combining with your medication and making you sound deranged? If so... please provide proof of your claim. Edited September 19, 2025 by Cheese Quote

Out of interest What other options do you think we had? You voted reform Do you think they'd be doing better than labour right now? And I assume you don't think Lib Dems could do a better job Or the Tories We know you don't rate labour But if it was up to you Who should've won the last election and gone in to sort the mess to the point of showing progress within 12 months Who will you vote next time and why? Because as Boby says, this 1 in 1 out with 800 arriving is an absolute farce. Failed solutions, time & time again. Maybe if it picks up with more heading back to France, then it will be deterrent. But I’m not so sure. Had a look through the Reform policies the other day - what a ridiculously written load of divisive shite (across the board). Hopefully Labour do something about it, so we’re not subjected to the sheer chaos of those policies. Though I’m not holding my breath. Quote

Not sure that’ll be too difficult though by the time labour finish this term. The rest is up for debate and no one really knows, it’s looking nailed on that we’ll find out in a few years though. We’ve been served such garbage for the last 10 15 years that rightly or wrongly people are clambering for more change. Quote

I'm sorry to wade back into this thread but 1 in 1 out isnt what you are painting it is. And it isnt a farce. Again, I get legislation is dull. But this is a clear new regulatory principle which will ensure quicker processing both for illegal migrants and those seeking genuine asylum and will - because of cross European agreements - cost us, the UK taxpayer a lot less and be more effective. I despair that people dont look at these things properly. But such is the current situation. Quote

I’m completely opposed to you politically. I despise Farage and Trump and their ideologies, etc, but I see no point whatsoever at anyone trying to take the high ground on morality to make a point against ‘your side’. Snouts and troughs and all that. All turds floating at different levels in the barrel of shit that is the current political world. Utterly pointless comparisons and completely ignoring why Farage/Reform are gaining momentum Quote
