Wanderers 2-1 Sheffield Wednesday

So the 1st of two home games which I think will tell us where this season is going

Hopefully build on from villa and put a performance in like we did against them in the cup

They have 100 tickets left out of 4800 so will be noisy as fuck no doubt

1-1

Don't think most will to be honest. Lots are fed up with the situation in general not Parkinson himself. There is a lot of frustration but I think plenty don't blame the manager.

Anyhow, its irrelevant only man that matters is Ken. And he's not sacking Parky. Best to get behind the team. We're going down more than likely, but be good to get some points to at least make it more interesting.

sorry don't agree people are fucked off with Parkinson and I'm willing to bet a defeat especially to qpr and it won't be nice

But like you say let's get behind them that's all we can do

As much as I want PP to stay if we lose these 2 at home he is toast.

A few loudmouths online does not equal fans in the stadium. I haven't heard a single fan shout for Parky to go yet. Even the bloke in front of me who spent six months screaming at Lennon and Freedman hasn't been on at Parky yet.

i didn't say people have been shouting for him out

I'm saying people's patience is wearing very thin and it won't be long before people do

45-50 points is the average to staying up, we currently have 2, meaning we have around 43-48 points to get.

That’s like 10-12 wins, providing we draw games as well, and we haven’t managed just 1 win in 11 matches this season.

Still early in season, but either way you look at it, we are near certain to go down.

Have to get some wins this month.

I don’t like the way Parky and Ken are addressing the situation, in terms of being all nice and positive.

Especially Ken saying win lose or draw, Parky stays. I mean what’s that about?

Why let last year just go down in waste, build on from it, stay up.

Parky did his job last year,we have given him than enough time to stay up, but it obviously hasn’t worked.

Our fans have been incredibly supportive of the situation, but if things continue, it could get nasty.

Its possible, and in my view plausible that Ken believes Parky is the best manager we can currently have. Sacking a manager often doesn't change results. As you say staying up has gone from very hard to near impossibility. Mind string a few results together and the outlook doesn't half change.

Ken hasn't got the money to sack parky, if he did he'd be gone

Parky will stay because KA as no other option and we have no money.

Not unhappy with PP, but like many the situation in general. I have to agree with Radcliffe that if we loose the next two, things are bleak.

With respect to what Lostock said above that is conjecture based on history. We could quite possibly stay up with less points than mentioned if other teams become equally as shite!

We have no choice as fans to put up and shut up come what may Parky stays no matter what but tbh we will be down by Xmas don't see a win coming at all.

well if we are down by Xmas and they keep him on, I wouldn't fancy having the job of flogging season tickets next year

Lets all be totally honest about the shambolic points total.

If we had no Manager then would have acrued more points than PP has.

Harsh but honest....

oh thats ok then.

Which begs the question why did we spunk what very little we had in the summer on ALF and karacan when we insist on playing that way?

We should have gone for a big lump.

maybe, maybe not

i think everybody agrees PP would have started the season with vela and ameobi in the team

2-0 win this weekend

aye we carry on making our monthly payments watching shite and just sit back and wait till August

And people wonder why i never committ to a S/T.

Here you have the answer.

this weeks answer!

theres always something you will find to hide behind, as you well know

maybe ALF is banging parkys wife as on the rare times he goes 2 up top he leaves the clubs only natural goalscorer on the bench

I have it on good authority parky didn't want ALF last season, never mind this.

yes heard similar, bit of a crowd pleaser signing keep fans happy

To be fair there were very few alternatives.

To be fair there were very few alternatives.

Granted. And I'm glad we signed ALF, I like him. Poachers are hard to come by.

I just wish we'd play a system that suits him.

You would of thought with all the height and one dimensional football we play.

We would have at least got 1 scrappy goal in our last 8, but no.

Parky has really done an incredible job with how bad we have been so far.

He should of gone by now, the worst thing from a chairman perspective is to just sit around and do nothing.

I’m hoping ken already has a long shortlist, of fully scouted potential replacements as manager.
