Not been on the train to Brentford before, always driven.

Will probably go on the train this time, but might be on the last minute train wise to Euston.

 

How long is it to South Ealing on the tube, or is it quicker to get a train ?

It's a long & boring hike to the tube.

 

As said, get the tube from Euston to Waterloo or Vauxhall & then the train on to Brentford station which is only 5/10 minutes walk from the ground.

Fulham tube was free 4 me.

 

Just looked and they took £10.80 initially and refunded it to me the next day for some reason.

These seems the obvious and quickest way.

 

I know some folk like the planes trains and automobiles most complicated route options but just cuts down on drinking time.

 

Some of the routes people took in the old days to get to places like Munich and Madrid were bizarre.

If you're on an in and out job, then yes.

If you've all day/night, then a bit of mooching than be a good thing.

I think I was meaning stopping off for a few beers in somewhere along the way (see early question re beers in Vauxhall).

 

Get tubes and buses to other places unless you have somewhere in mind seems pointless. Just as likely to end up somewhere shit and expensive. I was not planning on mobbing up in Brentford weatherspoons singing we are the one and only wanderers.
