December 24, 20178 yr I'd agree re Ameobi being our only game changer, his running alone takes so much pressure of our back four, but I was hoping Buckley might also offer us something different too. He's a talented player and I keep thinking when he's fully fit with a run of games, we might have a real player on our hands. I do recall Brighton fans saying that towards the end of his time there he promised lots but delivered little
December 24, 20178 yr Baring in mind Buckley is a winger. He looks neither skilful nor quick. He might be a tidy player but never a winger. And in a team with 2 enforcers and vela centrally we could do with someone who can go past someone on the wing. Ala ameobi
December 24, 20178 yr I’m still of the opinion Buckley will come good needs a run of games to show his true worth but hopefully it’ll come.
December 24, 20178 yr We desperately need to take some confidence from that result, too many players are shit scared of the ball when we have it which means we can never retain possession. Vela should be far more involved and dictating play, he works his nuts off but rarely has the ball or really influences the match flows. Buckley has been given a fair run, we have better options. Taylor was excellent Pratley and Henry won the battle in the middle. Cardiff were woeful
December 24, 20178 yr Madine may aswel clear off in transfer window He has a poor game - cunt Scores and assists - cunt Strange bunch bolton fans Couldn’t agree more.
December 25, 20178 yr Come on guys the team turned up yesterday 1-11 so let's give them a break and hope they can get results in the next 2 games
December 25, 20178 yr Saw the goals for the first time since live today. Gotta admit, any criticism of Madine's assist is ridiculous. He took the touch, looked up then played the ball perfectly to give Vela a simple tap-in.
December 26, 20178 yr Saw the goals for the first time since live today. Gotta admit, any criticism of Madine's assist is ridiculous. He took the touch, looked up then played the ball perfectly to give Vela a simple tap-in.Well he never takes a touch before squaring it Which is why he looked indecisive at the time to us Anyway, if you look back, the “criticism” was more of the description of it being a “cracking” assist, than the assist itself
December 29, 20178 yr Well he never takes a touch before squaring it Which is why he looked indecisive at the time to us Anyway, if you look back, the “criticism” was more of the description of it being a “cracking” assist, than the assist itself From his body language, I understand why you may have got that impression. However, I genuinely think he was up on his toes and was just waiting to play the ball at the best time. Not sure he ever had an intention to shoot himself.

January 19, 20188 yr CONFIRMED: Bolton Wanderers' Sky Bet Championship trip to Cardiff City Football Club will now be played on Tuesday 13 February, kicking off at 7.45pm. The previous Tuesday is being reserved for their cup relay at ManCity! All the other rearrangements are on 30 January, but Cardiff's cup match is on the Sunday and we are on TV the next Friday, so neither midweek option suits both clubs. It means we will now have 3 successive homes, but will carry a match in hand for 2 weeks.
