Right.....who Are Going Down ?

Big fear is a Derby reserve side getting beat by Barnsley on the final day. All well and good looking at other team’s fixtures but when they’ve sewn up a play off place and decide to rest players for the last couple of games is what could fuck us over

That's why we need to beat Barnsley and get another win from somewhere I think it could go to the last game of the season.

The fact that we are still in with a chance of staying up is testament to how well parky has been fighting fires this season .

Selling madine coming home to roost. Russia roulette with our safety

  • The fact there are 5 games and 15 points left.  While the defeats have been horrifically shit against Burton brum etc there have Bern great wins against cardiff and villa.   It's in our hands (tho

If we are staying up Burton has to be a 3 pointer

No reason we shouldn't be favourites to beat forest

After looking at the fixtures I actually prefer our chances of staying up rather than Brums chances.

Yeah believe they’re in big trouble and that’s why it’s still in our hands.

We could stay up by default and let’s hope we do and that KA has a plan in place for investment, because if we don’t invest we won’t be staying up next season if we’re lucky enough to stay up this season.

Ken has said he hopes to bring in investment , and i for one believe him , he certainly isnt here to asset strip, or line his pockets.

Im expecting another season with no transfer fees paid.

Hopeful we can offer the freebies a competitive wage though.

haven't we also got something like 20 players out of contract as well, so I guess we'll be jettisoning a load of old shit as well.

Don't worry though.....as I think Amos still has another year left of his £10K per week deal

I'd expect us to have a far smaller squad of contracted players next season...probably boosted with even more loan signings

I heard Amos is on 16th a week

Crazy wages

I’d say he’s our most mental signing out of all our weird / shit / overpriced signings purely based on the fact that we offered him somewhere around £15k per week (based on numerous reports) and gave him a 3 year deal, therefore tieing us in to over £2m of costs a matter of months before ran out of cash and very nearly went bump. How the fuck that ever happened and someone somewhere didn’t stop it is beyond me.

The fact he has turned out to be shit has just added to what was an already terrible deal for the club.

Charlton fans rate him highly.

it is/was a 4 year deal wasn't it?

Not sure, could well be - if it is it makes it even more crazy

I agree, especially as it occurred after it became common knowledge that we were in some kind of financial disarray. An absolutely scandalous signing.

Basically he got the deal Bogdan (equally shit) turned down

He was great when on loan and I seem to remember his signing being given almost universal approval. The numbers are only scandalous in hindsight. He's shown good form at Charlton too.

The idea was probably to sell Amos on for a fee. He was being touted as a possible future international at the time.
