I worked at the Reebok a few years ago when saville AV used to supply the extra PA round the pitch, I installed it a few times and it did improve things a lot in my opinion. It’s unlikely there is money available for that anymore and I don’t even know if they have the same deal with saville’s. It’s a very dated system that would need a massive overhaul to bring it up to today’s expectations for audio una stadium. (Can’t comment on the announcer as I wasn’t there today)

August 12, 20188 yr Strange though - surely the PA just comes with the stadium doesn't it? We didn't hire it did we? We own the PA system that is hung from the roof of the stadium, that came with the original design. The extra PA that was installed around the pitch a few years ago was supplied as part of a deal with Saville AV from Salford keys. They were the AV company that supplied all the kit for most of the conference stuff that happens around the stadium on non match days. The stadium PA is very much out of date and possibly not very well maintained these days.
August 12, 20188 yr Last season you could hear the announcements and if anything the music was too loud so I am not having that the equipment is knackered, some idiot must have been playing with the buttons.
