He's taken the risks, turned the club around and got us promotion and kept us up in successive seasons whilst doing so! Can't please all the people all the time however I guess but as far as I'm concerned he's done a cracking job and one I wouldn't have thought was even possible to achieve. I think the way he has gone about things is extremely administrator like even the bit where he wanted in on potential administration. Again it's an observation rather than a criticism. Ive toyed with the idea of him staying on or not if a takeover goes through and have come to the conclusion it would be better to move on. I agree he’s done an outstanding job however he’s not invested in the business using any of his personal wealth as for buying the shares of DH he rather stole them by backing DH into a corner thus gaining full control of the club lock, stock and barrel for 500 k plus £1 and as rightly pointed out paid himself that back. He’s done very good job but let’s not get all watery eyed the sooner he can sell to someone who will invest will be better for all concerned. If i was pouring millions in I would want someone making sure it was not being spunked away. I bet he has made less in back handers than some of our recent managers.
