Agree with most of this except he’s not invested anything unless your talking about time and effort.

Well that's what the anti-Anderson mob would like people to believe - and to be fair many do - but it simply isn't true.

If nothing else, Anderson's via his company Inner Circle paid something like half a million to buy Holdsworth's shares from the liquidator of SSBWFC - so if the club went bust tomorrow he's £500,000 out of pocket.  (Funny how non of the high net worth friends of the ST were nowhere to be seen when the shares were available to be bought - nor any of these billionaires so desperate to buy the club, whom Ken is apparently continually thwarting them from doing so!)

When the likes of Shortland et al, risk a half million of their own money, maybe then they'll have earned the right to criticise how KA runs his business but until they do, they should keep their untruths to themselves and be thankful we even have a club at all thanks to the man they constantly choose to despise and hate because like him or not Anderson has been the only show in town since Davies packed it in and he's turned the club around from a financial basket case to one where a sale of £30 million seems a feasible possibility, in just over a couple of years.

Fair play for him in achieving that - and backing himself to the tune of the half million he paid to get Holdsworth shares - as well.

He's taken the risks, turned the club around and got us promotion and kept us up in successive seasons whilst doing so!

Can't please all the people all the time however I guess but as far as I'm concerned he's done a cracking job and one I wouldn't have thought was even possible to achieve.

What's that old saying, those who can do, those who can't teach.

You could argue that was covered by the 525k-650k in consultancy fees from last year, whilst it remains to be seen what they've charged this year

I agree with the job well done in turning the club around sentiment but I'd be surprised if he's been out of pocket at any point

He's an administrator for me. All his dealings he has had would be how a club in administration would be done

Do you mean he's  reduced outgoings while looking to maximise income, making successful appointments to key positions, while strengthening the core business

That goes way beyond the role of an administrator

It sounds like the bollocks the twitterati spout, to be fair  :)

Does it. I think the way he has gone about things is extremely administrator like even the bit where he wanted in on potential administration. Again it's an observation rather than a criticism.

Ive toyed with the idea of him staying on or not if a takeover goes through and have come to the conclusion it would be better to move on.

He's a shrewd businessman, often operating close to the wind, seemingly acting in the best interests of bwfc

I don't care about ethical as I'm real world rather than fairy tales

I'd love it if he was around for years to come

Can't see it, tbh

If we want to push forward, rather than consolidate, I agree 100%. A buyer will want to target promotion, so it's offski, per the Tomski.

I agree he’s done an outstanding job however he’s not invested in the business using any of his personal wealth as for buying the shares of DH he rather stole them by backing DH into a corner thus gaining full control of the club lock, stock and barrel for 500 k plus £1 and as rightly pointed out paid himself that back. He’s done very good job but let’s not get all watery eyed the sooner he can sell to someone who will invest will be better for all concerned.

He backed Holdsworth into a corner?

Fuck off.

DH backed himself into a corner signing the club up for a 3456942.4% Apr Wonga loan

Agreed DH did not help himself or the club and in reality shouldn’t of agreed that deal once his financial backer pulled out at the  11th hour however without it we would have gone into administration and most likely would not have been in the championship today and possibly wouldn’t have a club to support.

KA is right for what we needed and need until someone pours a big chunk of money in.

If i was pouring millions in I would want someone making sure it was not being spunked away.

I bet he has made less in back handers than some of our recent managers.

You're 'real world' but don't advocate paying your bills on time like in the real world hehe.

I wish most of my customers would pay on time.

If they are less than 45 days overdue when paid, I'm lucky.

My suppliers however stop credit if I'm one day overdue paying them.
