It's on a ship on Tuesday from Adelaide to Fremantle. Can't fucking wait to get me hands on it. Now if you meant me with that line, you are quite correct. Quote

The hot summer we had maybe 21/22 I ended up getting 350 miles out of it on a trip down to the south west. Quote

I find it obviously reduces range a bit, but nowhere near as much as the heater does in winter. Van has a standard heater too, whereas many newer ev cars now have heat pumps that save a lot of power. No I didn’t too be fair😂. I had my head out of the window like Churchill the dog. I just wanted to do it in one trip Quote

Get it retrofitted with a couple of beastly electric motors. Faster, better to drive, and you won't have to live in those 40 degree temperatures in Summer. Include V2L switch and you can plug in a fridge for all your tinnies and chablis whilst out entertaining your good lady and friends. No brainer. Quote

Get your Manc sparky to fit you a charger at home and you can run it for next to nothing with overnight charging. If you aren’t already on Octopus use the link below to get £50 off. I also get £50 but I give mine to the local hospice. https://share.octopus.energy/loved-sheep-483 Quote

Agrees that the "V8 modor" sound is a bit of a loss, but explains that the benefits far outweigh that. Showed a couple of retrofitted vw campers he'd done too. From barely being able to climb a hill with their original, low power engines, to flying up them at high velocity. Quote
