My final post here, my work is done, back to warmer climes tomorrow

The name of the 'mystery' bidder (or the money behind it) is going to come out within the next few days (a week at most), no way it will be kept secret until a week on monday. Hopefully legally binding contracts will be signed before it becomes public knowledge.

Fear not, you are going to be ok

Holts lager is shit by the way

Enjoy

Goodbye, Parminder

Press space after punctuation you cockwomble. I can take racist jibes, but you're neither funny nor accurate.

Snowflakes? Seriously...

You're the kind of loudmouth simpleton that thinks he's hilarious at parties; whereas truth be told people roll their eyes, nod and tolerate your backward 'humour' rather than try to explain why you sound like a dick.

Just like me!

If you're gonna sin, you have to be original.

"namely the 'dark horse' potential new owner has bought the share ownership debt from Moonshift and have served Anderson a 14 day notice to take control of the club from him.  This allows them to put the club into Administration before the next court date (as they would be the owners before then) and takes liquidation off the table"

What is the benefit of putting the club in admin? Why not just buy it outright?

Thanks and ok.

What have we learned today?

- Team Howard seems to be proceeding down the path he predicted, namely the 'dark horse' potential new owner has bought the share ownership debt from Moonshift and have served Anderson a 14 day notice to take control of the club from him.  This allows them to put the club into Administration before the next court date (as they would be the owners before then) and takes liquidation off the table. Ken has to play ball with them - as they have the capacity - the money, to fund Admin if he doesn't - and it is better for KA financially to do a deal now as he will get more than he would under Admin.
- Team Nixon still seems to be firmly in the Basran camp - which if the 'dark horse' has already bought the debt and served notice - closes them off from doing a deal now.
- and Team Iles is totally silent, meaning he either knows what is going on and is not allowed to say, or is clueless - I'll let you decide which it is.
- A few revaluations also seemed to have been made today, namely that Howard is a lady (from Casino) which Howard refutes.  That he drinks Cinzano, which hasn't been mentioned since the days of the famous TV ads of Leonard Rossiter and Joan Collins and also that he works in HR.  Clearly he knows a tad about insolvency too.  Lastly John Galt (who may or may not have been part of Team Basran) is off to somewhere warmer and that doesn't sell Holts beer - easily pleased then.
- Lots of thanks and praise made to Howard for all his guidance and education over the last two weeks although one or two reasonably don't want to believe things until they see them for themselves.
- Finally a return of Watsmore (and unfortunately again some casual racism) and from another the cringeworthy question in reference to a woman about HBAYT.  Each to their own and all that, and who am I to judge anyone but haven't we moved on yet from that sort of humour now by now - most people find it awkward to read and not funny anymore.
- But not to leave on a negative, we seem to be looking at a new owner being in place within a matter of days (maybe even in place for when the clubs wages are due), who apparently have a few quid behind them, enough at least to pay everyone off for now and give us financial stability at very long last.

Fingers crossed.

Howard said PR, Sluffy, not HR. True? Who knows but, if it were, would it not also confirm Howard as an accomplished practitioner of the deliberate leak?

Anyway back to the mystery bidder. Every bidder has a motive. Sometimes its only about making money but its not always. Its hard to see how the mystery bidder is going to make money out of BWFC and, if it were the primary motive, would he also not be conspiring to consign the unsecured creditors to their fate?

Other motives seem to be at play, and by no means, do I infer ulterior motives

Not clear on the reasons why the new owner would put the club in Administration.

If they chose not to progress with the deal, administration would prevent liquidation whilst also allowing them to recoup their outlay on the shares.

'allowing them to recoup their outlay on the shares'? You'll have to explain that one  to me, Howard..

Ah, So IF the new buyer decides not to follow through with the deal(Buy the club), Then admin to claim their money back for the initial cost of buying the debt from Moonshift.

But would still cost them for Admin??

The process of novation is a ceteris parabus scenario, they would become the holders of the debt (£5M) which could be recouped through admin.

Come on Howard, most on here are more interested in tit size than Latin legal-speak. Explain please.

Ah the practised art of spin!. The shares and the debt are not the quite same thing are they, Howard, whether expressed in English, Latin, Greek or any othe language that you care to mention..

Isn't it just the same result as the debt is secured on the shares and the shares are in effect worthless?

And Howard what type of organisation do you do PR for?

I’d like to  put forward the motion that we refrain from legal and financial stuff and just get on with flinging good old fashioned rumours about which rich bastard might have bought us.

But besides,  it's no wonder I didn't understand it if it was spelled incorrectly.

If KA defaulted on the loan from Moonshift (now the new buyer) then they retain the right to transfer the shares held by ICI in BLL and subsequently BWFC. That brings with it the debt owed to ICI by BLL/BWFC.
