Nice that we have found some common ground we can agree on! :)

Mind him acquiring half the club for a pound was not exactly a hard choice. His plan was clearly to rip Holdsworth off, use his dodgy loan to finance the club for a season without putting his own money in and then sell on for a few million wuids profit. All worked well apart from DH resisting more than he thought and selling it being a lot harder than he thought.

Deary me.

You have to find common ground where you can.

What? It was obviously a no brainer. He never expected to still be here. Thought he could do a quick flip for a tidy profit.

Yes...and you’re as common as they come :D

Joking aside, good to see we share interests other than politics, but for fuck’s sake, don’t book a room for us.

O Sullivan was with Tessa till 85, in a retirement home now for entertainer's after suffering a stroke in 03. After shagging Tessa for nine years, i think he did well.:D

Flipping eck. How many years had Eddie been trying to get somebody to take the damn thing over without success?

Glad the thread's back. Just read Howard's finale from yesterday. Love the double counting of the £13m. It's actually much worse than Howard says.

The £13m from Ken isn't recoverable.

Because it's not recoverable, we've £13m less cash to spend on wages etc, so now we're £26m down.

It also means we don't have £13m to spend on Twixes instead, so now we're £39m down.

Bloody hell, it starts racking up quickly ...

Doubt he was trying at all, should have sold us back in the prem days but he was too busy burying his head

Players have been told the club are going to (but haven't yet) apply for the accounts to be unfrozen allowing them to be paid next week, according to Iles anyway (or 'esteemed Beeno journo Lies ', if you prefer).

It's completely coincidental that these sudden assurances continually come just before a match.

All sounds a bit of a shit deal for the players. They have to wait 14 days of going unpaid before they can put their notice in, then wait another 14 before they can actually leave. And even then Ken can make them look like twats by finding the money at any point in that time, cancelling out the notice.

A bit like Amanda Holden leaving Les fuckin Dennis and Anthea Turner ditching Peter Powell, both blokes never really recovered and the nearest Les Dennis got to another bird was Gail E.T. Tyldesley and Eileen Fat Cabs Grimshaw from Corrie.

Giinnnnnaaaa

I’d have a blast on Eileen

ginnaaaaa
