Those attendance figures aren't representative in my view. Every time I've compared the announced figure with the eye test there's been a big gap, because a lot of season ticket holders have stopped attending but the club continues to count them in the figure. How many of them will buy again next year?

Whether they currently go or not, they paid £300+ eight months ago for season tickets. These aren't people who are making every excuse not to go until we're in the Premier League, and they won't need much encouragement to come back (a new owner that isn't a crook and a manager who isn't PP should do it).

Absolutely. If it has to happen, let's do it soon, at least the club in its new circumstances can start planning early.

People favouring admin and a new decent owner is laughable. No cunt wants to buy us that’s why we are in this mess. We don’t dictate the situation anymore.

It's never ending. I was happy to get behind Bassini if he had some money to put in, but he's had 2/3 weeks to put up the cash now and hasn't so it's not looking great on that front. Not really a good sign when people would rather admin and start again.

I don't see why KA isn't just pulling the trigger now. If he's getting his money in admin it makes no difference to him and he's away from it all sooner.

He obviously wanted a solvent sale to Bassini for whatever reason, but surely he has to be doubting that option now.

Every deadline seems to be flexible at the minute. Every chance we make it to court with no change.

So what should we favour?

Liquidation- no thanks.

What else is there if no fucker can/will buy us directly.

A normal functioning Bolton Wanderers will never fail to attract players.

Our average home attendances this season are higher than one Premier League club, eight in the Championship and 21 clubs in League One.

I get some of those have rich benefactors, but plenty don't and so I don't buy the idea that the natural order of things would leave us in League One obscurity.

I don't want to sound like folk in another thread on here, but people seem to be down on the size of this club and where we stand relative to other teams. Last time we were in League One we were fresh off nearly going to the wall, and if we'd started on -12 we'd still have had more points than Millwall who went up.

Correct. But we have that home support yet still lose money. And still have a lot of bills to pay. So the fact our turnover would put us top end of L1 bottom end of championship naturally is good. But given we will have to a) pay a lot of bills b) restructure lots of aspects of the club and c) likely lose attendance and further income - I'd say the net result is an average league one side at best.

Once we bottom out and hit an even keel and the debts are gone and costs are inline and we've invested satisfactorily in the youth system - then yes - we might push on a bit.

Surely though when bought out of admin all debts are gone I would have thought.

Taking KA out of the equation will help... no cunt wants to deal with our cunt, except another cunt.

When bought out it will be for a figure that clears 25% of unsecured debts and that clears secured debts or reaches agreement with those creditors. So its not impossible we come out of admin still owing some money.

But even then we're losing money so it isn't like we'd be debt free - and the buyers will have had to invest initially to buy us. It isn't the magic wipe everything clean and start again that it potentially used to be.

The hotel is now closed apparently.

You can still run a booking through on the Website, so I imagine the Fraud Squad (or whatever name they use nowadays) would be getting involved if they are taking the money knowing full well they won't be honouring the rooms.

On various platforms there's folk planning to get him paid a visit. I don't honestly think anybody no matter what deserves violence against them though

Probably 14 year old internet warriors. Anyone with an ounce of common sense wouldn't be advertising on Twitter and Facebook about planning to get someone "paid a visit". If something happened to Anderson those people would be the first ones being interviewed and locked up.

Maybe, and like I say I have never condoned violence in my later years so hope it is bullshit.

FFS. It isn't just the lost points. Its everything that goes with it. It means we'll be underprepared for a relegation fight in league one next season with likely a squad assembled last minute on buttons and a manager either the existing one or a new cheap one making do and mending as they go.

Those who wait for admin are not likely to be owners looking to make huge cash injections.

I'm not so sure about that. Even the richest investors get rich because they only spend what they have to. If you can pick up the club for 20 million less than you thought and then only invest half of that back in to the club on players, ten million would get you enough decent players to make a good go at promotion, and, you would still have ten million in your pocket. Of course, the figures I use are way off in our situation, but there are stories that the real debt is around 30 million, so you never know.

Secured debt plus 25% of unsecured is said to be close to £20M. So thats what you have to clear in admin.

Some of the secured stuff may be negotiated. Lets say best case scenario it costs £10M to get us out of admin. Then another £6M to cover operational losses and inject initial cash into the business.

So at bottom end that is £16M. That is to literally kick start it. Then you have to pay for players, coaches, management staff etc...I'm just not seeing that someone prepared to invest loads initially waits for admin. I suspect people who want to own us but don't have loads to throw away will. And that's fine. But the likelihood is next season will be about finishing outside the relegation places in league one if we go via admin. And doing so will not be straightforward for anyone.

I’m sure if Barry Knight received death threats over a game then considering this there’s a chance someone will track him down
