Reuters News Agency are reporting that possible future Bolton Wanderers owner Laurence Bassini has been rushed to a London hospital.   It would appear that he has somehow got his right hand trapped down the back of a very large sofa.

Chaps as I posted on your excellent forum a couple of weeks ago - you don’t want Bassini, trust me. Nothing in what has gone on with your club and him over the last couple of weeks has surprised me. This he could have sold you on from the commitment that he made and taken a profit out of you was something that he quoted when he was with us and things were going wrong. Anything is better than him.

Anything? How about liquidation and starting again as Wanderers 1877 in the 12th tier?

now ifBassini is in fact just a plain old nutter and not a wealthy one then he won’t even get the keys so it’s all largely irrelevant
