I seem to remember we also used to end up at some Nightclub in Leigh of all places (normal club not rock) drinking very cheap cans of Colt 45. Bolton used to be a great night out. All I hear or read about the Town Centre now is it's a shit hole and you do well to avoid getting a glass over your head in most places. It would be good to know if this really is the case, or if it's still as good as back in the 80s/90s. There used to be a lot of decent pubs in the Town. It's a shame that so many have shut down.

I don't recall him wearing a Wanderers tracky + don't think he followed the footy.He was a Sharples fella, Dark curly hair and usually had a beard, he was very thick set and had a "presence" about him - lost half an ear in an incident at The Swan sometime in the 80's. We always found him firm but fair. No longer with us sadly
