That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

Go up the mast road and head to two lads. Much quieter and less riff raff

Was rammed up there too last time I went up, just before Christmas. Icy as buggery too.

Yep. I'm lost.

Two lads are two Cairns on Crooked Edge Ridge. I was there on Friday afternoon, much quieter. I parked in the new Walker Fold car park and walked up the new path. Nice 1 1/2 hour walk.

If you look at the pike, cast your eyes to the right and there’s a fucking enormous telly ariel. It’s between the two.

We were further along heading towards great hill. The numbers coming from winter hill area to great hill were surprising to say the least.

Parked on the car park just off Belmont Road, up to the top, down a different route, through Roddlesworth and back. Quite, and a decent mooch, with deer in the woods too.

One I look at says 18 in Wales, 3 Scotland but no numbers yet for England.

Either way, very encouraging.

We just need to get through these 3 weeks of school and see where we are.

Due to lockdown, I’ve now actually only worked 6 months in the last 12. Consequently, I’ve done a lot of walking. Rivington and Anglezarke are so big that you could do a different walk every day for weeks. Maybe more. I’ve also done it in different weathers. Snow, rain, fog and hot sun.
Very lucky to have it all on our doorstep.

We are.

Wife did a bit of a vicar of Dibley; walking along the stone path, with a fair bit of muck and ice on. She took a step onto what she thought was the next flag and it was just a mud filled hole.

A nice mooch to white coppice too.

The view from the Two Lads is one of my favourite views. There's so much within eyesight on a clear day.

Maybe/not

if the vaccine stops transmission, and I think that has been acknowledged, and the fuckin things doesn’t morph into something else, we are home and hosed.
