That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

My mate had Covid in January, was rough but kept out of hospital went for AZ jab on Thursday said he’s been rough as fuck since he’s pretty fit lad, said he’s never felt so bad. Apparently if you’ve had covid the jab can make you poorly again.

I also had the AstraZenica jab on Thursday and have had no side effects whatsoever - not even a sore arm!

I'm fairly sure i had the virus last April, but i never had a test as i was self isolating at the time, my Mrs (NHS) tested positive through the antibody test around the same time.

No guarantee that will happen

Why not? Supply issues, getting done earlier, or change of dosing strategy?

Supply

Nothing concrete, just that nothing is guaranteed

"...Professor Phil Spector was speaking to This Morning hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, after the UK passed it's 15 million vaccination target, prompting many to discuss the possibility of lifting lockdown restrictions..."

The Lancet had already gone to press.

That said the good 'Doctor' certainly looks like someone who's word one can trust...

It can't give you COVID again if that's what you mean. He might well have the usual side effects - but I'm pretty sure he's exaggerating if he's saying it's the worst he's ever felt.

Either that or he's picked something else up around the same time and is attributing how he's feeling to the vaccine.

The only side effects i got from my jab was a fucking massive bruise, like the nurse had hulk smashed the jab into my arm

Just for the avoidance of doubt: It doesn't give you covid again, but there is anecdotal evidence that the side effects from the vaccine can be worse for those who have had it.

Wasn’t suggesting it gave you Covid again, just that the jab gave him bad reaction, said he’s as rough as when he had Covid.

Great numbers again

Aye, 45.5% drop in deaths from last week

How many jabbed today- bbc said this morning that a bumper number of vaccines were on their way this week. Should be good numbers.

The 2nd dose numbers are shooting up as well.

Relax your arm more next time! I once snapped a Tetanus needle in my thigh through tensing up and moving about.

Amazing that we now consider 158 deaths in 24 hours as 'good numbers'

Just shows how bad things have been last couple of months!

There's not many being delivered week of the 8th - then we're expecting double the number from 15th onwards.....

It'll be bloody bedlam! 😁😁😁

158 deaths is awful.

But a 45% reduction in 7 days is worthy.

The stat I really like, was that only 100 people of 70 and over caught it last week. In total.

Went out before to pick up some home test kits for one of the kids from Mere Hall, as I was leaving one of the volunteers (?) on the gate was just sat there without his mask on.

The mind boggles.

When I had my first, 22 Jan, they said they’d be in touch in “about” 12 weeks. They also pointed out, if it gets to 12 weeks and I’d heard nothing, please don’t try to make appointments, they won’t forget me.

The common concensus is that most are like that. I can only speak for Preston which was flawless.
