30% of our team are off at the moment. None of them think they've got CV. If we could test them - they might be back on the front line in 2 days. As it stands - they won't be back in for about 2 weeks. And more people will ring in tomorrow.

I've got a banging headache and a sore throat. I've had it for a few days. If I'd have been tested Friday - it would really help me returning with some confidence tomorrow. Right now I'm worrying in case I'm one of the weird ones who doesn't get the cough and temperature and I end up passing it on to others!

It’s a worry as the symptoms can quite easily be something else.

Essential piece of equipment for when hunting the wild Haggis.

Whilst it’s important to blame people for not following advice it’s also dawning on journalists that our government royally fucked this up. The initial messaging following the doomed to failure herd immunity plan. So let’s not let our society take all the blame. There were still people on here talking herd immunity last week even though the rest of the world had shown it wouldn’t work.

The Times has this blow by blow. Our leadership fucked up hugely and the message was not delivered early enough, with enough severity and clarity. And now we are paying for it. You still have people thinking that it’s only old people who need to worry. And that is the governments fault for communicating initially that was the case.

That’s a good idea but the badge needs to be more prominent and inspiring, like a star.

I'm sure they'd share it

They'd probably enjoy the confusion

House is opposite a train track, most trains in/out of Stockport and Manchester go past

Been empty for days bar the odd passenger

The London trains go past too, but too fast to see owtl

I think we both know which way this is heading. Ain't going to be pretty

Yesterday I went to shopping. Loads of angry people demanding chicken breasts that were sold out. I said to a woman who looked fed up ‘don’t worry there is loads of Pork, Beef and Lamb and fish over there you won’t go hungry’.

Her reply ‘they only eat chicken breast’. FFS I don’t know how these people survive. Hopefully one positive of this will be to cure our nation of its fussy ness. Making a beef stew today, with some dumplings. That will last a few days. Freeze some too.

Sure, but criticism without any thoughts of how to correct, or how it might have been better, adds nothing.

Which countries have done better and why and how it might help us, could be of value.

Currently, most countries are on a similar trajectory, so how have we fucked up?

Can you not run alongside the London ones for a bit so it seems like they’re going slower?

Australia have obviously fucked it massively more and im sure mick will be along shortly to acknowledge this and add additional balance.

Like I said earlier, that first press conference should have announced all the measure we now have.

But now probably ain't the time, but once out the other side, there will be a reckoning and lessons will need to be learned

But you’re happy to compare our actions to other countries and say we’ve fucked it up based on others but not the other way round? Interesting stance. But one which you’re entitled to

Hahaha. Clowns and children's entertainers would be confused.

We're still going for a herd immunity plan in reality. We're just calling it something different and doing it at a different rate.

There's no way this lockdown is going to just come to an end. It will be phased out - it'll have to be. Exposing new households to the virus bit by bit. Letting a percentage of the population get exposed and then dealing with the consequences. Then letting more out and so on and so forth. Either that or we're all indoors until we get antivirals or vaccines. And that will be a good while off.

I wish we'd acted sooner and harder. That way my mam and dad might not be at as much risk.

In these times I think it might be acceptable for mob rule to give this bulk buying bitch a massive shoeing. Disgraceful. A huge indictment on the human race and the greed and selfishness we’ve allowed ourselves to indulge in. People like this are subhuman.
