That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

ours is at the dog sitters because we were meant to be going away this weekend and he was booked in anyway

let him go there so she wouldn't be out of pocket

but I'm going getting him back a day early later as I need an excuse to get out for a bit

Wash your hands after getting him back!

One of the instructions for self isolating folk was not to touch the dog as other householders can catch it off the mutt!

Lots of these doing the rounds at the minute, I hope the local communities remember theses twats once all this is over

This radio interview was broadcast just before the pubs etc were shut down, it's well worth listening to, the guy is a intensive care consultant in a hospital.

Does anyone every pay for a movie on Sky ?

usually £4.99 but they have some on now that should be in the cinema £14.99. Not moaning about price just in case people want a film.

What have they got that should be in the cinema? Had a look but couldn’t see much. Disney streaming service launches soon, might be a life saver. Also think they will make a mint.....

We could do with a big downpour to encourage everyone to stay inside

Just gone for a drive out down the coast road. Journey which would take 20 mins just took me an hour due to volume of traffic and people out. Kids out everywhere. Golf courses packed with people stood talking walking down fairways together.  Old young and really old.

think you can say with certainty the death rate up here is going to be significantly higher than the norm.

They are classed as premium. Not sure what they were called. Invisible Man was one as missus wanted to watch it.

Wifes not medical but works in the industry

We were discussing pitential cures and shes not fancying the hiv or malarua drugs

Rather take her chances with CV than have the side effects

I guess if its side effects or death, its a different choice

God love em.

Sent that clip to the missus yesterday.

Reminds me of my grandma and grandad they used to dance round to James Last and assorted big band stuff not a care in the world. Lovely break from the evil side of dementia.

IF chloroquine works then you can give it to the most vulnerable groups - 10 days from start of symptoms - it might reduce the need for these restrictions somewhat. It has side effects at high dosage over a long time but might just be enough to stop health systems being overwhelmed. Maybe. Healthy young folk could just ride out the virus untreated.

Fair enough

Im pretty sure we will have a cure very soon

Theres way too many clever people all over this

You have said yourself theres 1000's that die each year from flu.

Very clever people are trying to stop that too.

As they have been with Cancer and HIV for years.

I hope you are right.

30% of our team are off at the moment. None of them think they've got CV. If we could test them - they might be back on the front line in 2 days. As it stands - they won't be back in for about 2 weeks. And more people will ring in tomorrow.

I've got a banging headache and a sore throat. I've had it for a few days. If I'd have been tested Friday - it would really help me returning with some confidence tomorrow. Right now I'm worrying in case I'm one of the weird ones who doesn't get the cough and temperature and I end up passing it on to others!

That's how I started Tuesday, though I did have the cough. The temperature started late Wednesday, though it comes & goes, it's more like bouts of hot flushes & sweats, rather than a 'fever' that they mention.

Everything levelled out Thursday & Friday. Paracetamol is helping for the throat & headaches, no hot flushes Saturday but they started again 4am this morning.

I'm no expert, but I wouldn't be rushing back to work tomorrow if I was you!

Lovely isn't it mate ?

On the other hand, we have fools like this...

I’ve developed a sore throat today. Chest a wee bit sore. But no fever at all. No chills nothing. @kent_white that’s telling me I’m just under the weather but cannot be the virus correct?

im reaching that conclusion following the flow chart issued by the nhs

Yesterday evening, I got high temps too whilst throwing some shapes in The Dance Factory....

Must be Saturday Night Fever 🕺

Just been out for a kickabout with yoof. Thought we'd avoid busy parks so went on car park at Doffcocker. Lasted 5 mins until he booted it into someone's garden. Back home now and he's got a monk on. Gonna be a long few weeks this.

48 dead in the UK in the last 24 hours

Been in isolation since Tuesday and reckon I've put nearly 1/2 stone on, it's like being on an all inclusive holiday with the angel of death as your travel rep.
