Seems relatively clear now and when applying common sense to what is written form it makes it fairly straightforward.

Water cannons , tasers and a shoeings for failure to comply should sort it out relatively easily.

Common sense is, sadly, lacking.

Essentially do what you want/can but keep away from people and don’t touch anything. Then wash your hands regularly.

and fuckin think things through.

People who want/expect intricate details based on their own situation are just dicks.

Folk who think there is clarity in the new Government guidelines, are the ones who are dicks. Dick

The governments twitter account last night published something that was contrary to government advice. Jenrick also posted something he had to delete. Gove this morning went on national TV giving advice he then had to correct by twitter.

The pretence that they are doing well is lovely and cute. But also hilarious. We know they are charlatans but it’s not hard. Cobra meet first thing in morning. Formulate detailed written advice. Publish. Midday. Back up with exactly worded statement. Job done. Ensure all twitter and releases are aligned. People do this for a living daily. FFS.

Gove on BBC was clear. Didn't see his earlier comments, but he's corrected himself and apologised for not being clear initially. Fair enough.

It is impossible for them to specify every job; some common sense is required.

Plenty of retail places were already closing prior to this announcement, Travis Perkins for example said last week they were going to shut, and it caused large queues and a mass exodus of bricks!

Anyway, hi go, hi go, I'm off to fucking mow.

That’s where it spreads most. Public transport. They need to force all non essential businesses to close. That’s the single biggest thing they could do to slow this.

For instance, can a joiner travel to someones house to put up a garden fence  today or not? He obviously can’t do it from home. Can a window cleaner work or not? - Etc etc .Who can work & who can’t?

Yes.

Yes

Gove said going into someone’s house to do a non essential job would be a no

Our online side is still going so warehouse and a few others are in, can see the shopfitters across the way are in as well. Had two cars drive down to the children's play centre to see if it was open already.

Do you fancy Goves job Spider? Because the weak chinned dribbler was struggling for such clarity in his conflicting interviews this morning.

Sorry bu wtf is wrong with people. Why would anyone be looking to take their kids to a play centre today?

The car is due in for a service tomorrow. Just called in to see if they are open. Security on the gates saying they are closed due to the government announcement. Passed the Mercedes dealers, also closed. People turning up expecting their own services etc. Clear as mud. I closed yesterday by the way.

Construction industry working

however some builders merchants closed

Have we got a definitive list of essential/non essential work yet beside the obvious? I''m not taking the piss. Or is everybody just deciding for themselves?

Maybe It's just me being a bit dense :(

Even worse, it doesn't open on a fucking Tuesday anyway!

As I see it, the Government’s latest announcement is vague, probably deliberate, there are grey areas, but we all know what they trying to achieve, if you can stay home stay home, if you go out ask yourself is it necessary, am I putting my life or someone else’s life at risk

If YOU choose to go out and it ends badly don’t blame Boris, Gove or anybody else it’s up to you, the alternative is a total lockdown with Police, Military on the streets and punishment to follow

It doesn’t have to be essential work.
