I'd give anything for a reprieve. Even starting on -12, with a bit of time to assemble a squad, a bit of a pre season to bed them in, not forfeiting the first 6 games again & the chance of a few c

I just posted in COVID thread but might apply here in the end too, zoos just confirmed they're opening from 15th after originally being prohibited (London Zoo got involved today, hmm).

Get them pubs and them stadiums open.

If Blackpool Pleasure Beach can open in 3 weeks time then I'm sure we can go watch football in September.

That’s outdoor.

Turnstiles and concourses are indoors, that’s the issue

"We are confident that supporters of these two great clubs will respect safety advice about avoiding visiting stadiums where home and away fixtures are taking place," said a joint statement by Blue Union and Spirit of Shankly, supporters' groups for Everton and Liverpool respectively.

Well done to Merseyside Police. If any less than 10,000 gather within a half mile of the stadium, I will drink a pint of wasps.

Hence why murrayfield touted for hibs and hearts to play in. Not classed as going inside to get to your seat

Automated turnstiles solves that

Would need every stadium to do it

How does that solve it? It’s where the turnstiles lead to that’s the issue. Having them automated doesn’t really change that.

I suppose Reebok could open all four corner doors shut off the concourses and you have to go straight to your seat, dunno if that goes against H&S

Use the big doors instead of tiny turnstile door some geezer with zapper job done

shit loads of hand sanitiser spread about

bish bosh

come September it won’t be a problem

@Traf get the marquee ready pal

Boris is already talking it about it like something he scraped off his shoe on the way to work this morning

If the scousers can basically allow half of Merseyside to congregate unsafely outside a ground, I'm sure they can let everyone start to congregate safely inside grounds for next season.

Covid will be a forgotten footnote in the Tory archives by Sept. They'll be getting the Brexit deal out of the oven for us by then.

Also many clubs let you go outside at h/t get some barriers up let folk mooch out

That's concourse

Not turnstiles

Turnstiles needn't be an issue

If you go into the concourse you are classed as inside mate. Like I’ve said it’s where you go after admission. Rudy’s idea would work but h and s would have a field day and probably the police as well

Turnstiles aren’t an issue anyway other than where they lead. Turnstile operator is no different than someone working on a checkout in a supermarket. Easily solved

but you can’t move the turnstile from where it is. That’s the problem not the operation of it. So the turnstiles and access to the ground are very much an issue as they and the Concourse are inextricably linked

You need one entrance large enough for an ambulance to get through.

we have 3 corner entrances/exits that can be used.

The south stand which meets the west will be for away fans to get in.

west and north corner for north stand and the werthers brigade to get in

North and East corner ambulance

East and south corner open for fans to go.

Queue outside, handheld scanners

Walk along the pitchside

Seats one apart from each other

No upper tier

 No concourse

Marquees on the car parks to get some bunce in

No upper tier

mick won’t renew

One apart isn’t sufficient would need to be two

but I get your drift and it makes sense to me. In reality it won’t happen like that though

Wasn’t sure how many  two apart would allow in the ground.
let’s be honest if someone sticks in a last minute winner I’m jumping on the closest person to me

Another reason why until they just scrap social distancing they can’t really let folk back in grounds

without  polluting the thread It baffles me

how 15k can be allowed to protest all bunched up but 8k can’t rattle round the unibol.

Football fans lives don't matter...

what about folk who live together and therefore allowed together?- Do you have a say a family area where this can be relaxed? (Cue Krazy Korner all claiming to live under one roof)
