I'm thinking this is what drives the John Barnes etc to play the race card when they don't get the job. If you HAVE to interview someone to meet a dictated quota, even though you may not be interested in their track record , regardless of their race, religion or creed... is this not a kind of reverse racism that causes division, rather than promoting diversity? What if a BAME doesn't apply? Do you have to go out & try to coerce a BAME to meet the quota? I'm confused by such dictation... thoughts? Quote
