R.I.P. Ralph.

Aye remember him with flowing blonde locks RIP

I remember the name, along with Ronnie Phillips, from my first full season (72/73) but have no recollection of either of them as players

RIP

Phillips was still there following season

Every kick off was rolled back not midfield and leathered diagonally to where the 18 yard line would hit the touchline and Phillips had to get under it

RIP Ralph , not the quickest but fashioned himself a good career .

Scored a belter against Trashmere .

One of Jimmy Armfield signings .

Saw him a couple of years ago walking along the concourse outside the ground instantly recognisable still had flowing locks & dressed like a High Vegas roller .

I  remember him playing under Jimmy Armfield but I also have more recent memories of him

Met him at  the Charity Sportsmans Dinners that the Ex Wanderers Players Association  hold each year  ( am sure others on here will have done likewise)

He was different

He was a real character -  If someone had said he had driven over on his Harley and he once played in a 70s rock band you would have believed them

He had style , he had a glint in his eye and he was one of those people that when he walked in a room you noticed him - he came across as someone who lived life

A lovely man

RIP  RW

RIP Ralph fellow wanderer

I can’t for the life of me remember Ralph and i should do. How many games did he play for us? & does anyone have a photo from his playing days?

72/73 was my first proper season & I couldn't picture him either, yet obviously Ronnie Phillips is etched in my memory 🤔

I do remember him. Didn't really make a name for himself with us but glad to see he had a decent career overall. Wasn't his replacement Hugh Curran? Hugh must have been the easiest footballer to nutmeg in the history of the game.

Another white gone. RIP.
