July 12, 20206 yr Me and Mrs fancy a weekend away next weekend kids are all away thank fuck. Dont finish work till 8 on the Friday (hopefully a bit earlier) so needs to be within an hours drive from Horwich. Just want somewhere with a couple of pubs and restaurants to chill out and have a mooch around during the day. Any ideas chaps?

July 12, 20206 yr Get to St Annes in about 40mins, a few pubs that are ok and some nice restaurants. Just get hotel only, the toby carvery and the local spoons both do big cheap breakfasts. Loads of free parking too.
