Jacked in coaching my sons team a few weeks ago. U8 going into U9 and the behaviour of a couple of the kids was f-kin appalling. Parents hid behind their neurodivergence and it got to the point refs were walking off and opposition managers were abandoning games. 1 little cvnt in particular started bullying my lad towards the end of last season, because he didn't like me punishing him, or making him sit out training. I brought in a code of cunduct and the parents reported me to the club, for setting him up to fail. Club wanted me to do a specialist training course on how to coach and mentor children with ADHD. £250 and the club wouldn't pay - My team, my player, my problem, my expense - Fvck that!!!

Manchester FA wanted us nominate a sun safe lead for 2 hours of training 🤯

We would like at least one person from each Club to take the new on-line course - Sunguarding: Sun and heat protection for sports and outdoor recreation. This is free course that provides certificated accreditation and takes under two hours to complete.

Put the kids in the shade wherever possible, ensure there's plenty of drinks on hand and get them to wear sunscreen.

Not sure how you stretch that into 2 hours.

Crying out for gingers that

Took my son elsewhere now and jesus christ he's absolutely flourishing. He's gone from a talented, but timid player who looked bereft of confidence to a little monster doing stepovers, rainbow flicks, cruyff turns and smashing into lads twice his size! Love just being able to watch now and shout at him in the car instead of on the pitch! 🙂

My daughter though, had a trial for Salford Schools last week and I forgot to take her!! Shit Dad - If anybody has the details of the people that run the trials, any numbers or owt would be appreciated. Emailed them, but no response

So shit this.

I've posted about it up the thread but our under 10s coach has had similar issues.

Two kids, one with ADHD, causing havoc at training then subsequently losing game time at weekend caused nothing but drama.

Ended up with the clubs welfare officers being put in the parents what's app group. Fuckin pathetic.

How else was the coach meant to discipline kids that don't tow the line.

End of day it's not a bloody therapy club for kids with disabilities. It's fucking sport.

Thinking about it they should have teams solely with ADHD kids.

Be like a pack of them purple minions off Despicable me 2.

I’ve had to make a call on tonight- it’s going  ahead, drinks breaks every 12 and kids can get extra when they want.

All be warned to bring water, sun cream and if they want, a hat. I’ve got an extra 5l and some factor 30. Minimise the 1v1 and 2v2s, look to play 5v5 with one team on rotation.

Low intensity ball mastery- unopposed sessions; nice and slow

Scored against Burnley on first game of season.

I got absolutely leathered by some big lump near Horwich parkway and scuffed all my jeans afterwards.

Brought me down a peg or two :)

Mandela effect this bud-I thought the same, then checked wiki- Frandsen scored v Burnley, he then bagged against West Brom and Preston in the next two games. I was certain he came in on the morning of the first game of the season and thought he was gonna be the bollocks

He scored while being fouled, but the ref had already blown for a pen, which Frandsen slotted in

Loved it pal, great set up and cracking little bar.

Bet it does well for functions and stuff. Some old guy was in the members bit bang on 11 for his medicine :D

We got a big tournament over here on August bank Holiday. Irlam FC can stay at home though, they are way too good.

Our clubs annual tournament today. Not much fun in 50mph winds and driving rain but we all stuck it out. We won one game and 3 goals came direct off corners :D. Ended up knocked out in the semis v Camel Laird.

Story of the day came from Fleetwood, no surprises and St Anne's getting kicked out after a massive brawl involving parents.

One kids Mum, From Fleetwood obviously, throwing haymakers about. Some 80 year old gran caught in the mixer and got an elbow in the mush and is not at the Vic in the back of an ambulance.

Total disgrace and embarrassment. Same old Fleetwood but St Anne's giving it as good as they got. They were kicked out straight away the bunch of dicks.

Aggro follows anything Fleetwood like a bad smell the feral fuckers. St Anne's have kids who do private Judo and Karate lessons. Match made in heaven ha ha

My lad complaining that Liverpool have played Galatasaraay and Real Sociedad, Utd gone to Hong Kong, City vs DortmunD and Leverkusen, whereas Burnley have played Blackpool and Bradford at home… both in last season kits

Well that’s it, my lads last grassroots game is this Saturday as Salford have refused him and his team mates permission to carry on playing (even though the FA allow it).

Proper gutted, how anyone can think an extra game of footy with his mates is too much for an 11 year old is beyond me. Anyway it is what it is.
