It's that match v Darlington (5/11/86?). What it would have looked like if everyone who claims to have been there, really was.

Now Jim, when I mentioned "rattle" you immediately thought of "rattler" a colloquial name for a train, and suggested Crewe Alexandra, a place inextricably linked to trains. Well it was a good idea but

That steeple looks even wonky

Chesterfield

I wondered about the steeple, but i think the ground was a lot smaller footprint

Definitely dont remember it having a track, let alone that track which looks like one you would have the bike on

I think on the stand roof it says ride

Those hills scream pennines

Neither Chesterfield or BPA.

Selhurst Park.

That's not crooked enough for Chesterfields spire

The barrel shaped stand roof on the left hand side is quite iconic and should give a clue.

Notts County had one on what is now the Jimmy Sirrell stand, but I can assure you that is not Meadow Lane

Villa Park had one (and with the two bits on the centre too). I think the roof might have been replaced with a flat sloping roof. I think the stand with the flat roof replacement was still in place in the 70's .  I cannot say I've seen any pics of Villa Park with a bike track around it though. It does look a bit green for Birmingham too
