Looking at the sign, assuming it was centre justified, means a single name before the Fooball Club. A team name made up of between 7 & 9 letters.

I’ll go Chelsea

Trying to think of a ground with a small stand at the side in the ‘70s. Like Micky I reckon it’s a short name so I’ll go either Fulham or Burnley
