Dont forget to pay for however many years of medical training that’s needed, plus renting/buying a premises, then all the gear. Etc etc Its like this at the vets - “£40 just to be told to change his food”. Vet school costs £50k I know all that but being ripped off is subjective and like trips to the vet I feel I'm being ripped off. How much medical training do you need to stick a cotton wool bud up someones snot box ?

Put a rope round a lamb's head and describing his actions as he went over each ear etc. Then yanked it out and saved its life. Takes some training and skill; if loads could do it, it would be cheaper. It is expensive though, wouldn't imagine there are too many poor vets.
