3 Fat Bastards rings a bell, anybody see them play?

They were belting, they did a fantastic version of It's Not The Meat It's The Motion and the NYE gig on that flyer NiC posted might have even been the one when they had a piper walk them to the stage.

Ah Cranberry Fair - up in them there hills above Darwen. A fabulous place back in the day, semi naked birds dancing on a podium, swimming pools, chicken in a basket, Donna Summers “I feel love” blasting out. There was a Beltin’ 50 man Bolton v Blackburn brawl in there one Saturday night, maybe 78/79 ish it went on for about 30 mins, bouncers couldn’t cope so just left them to it. Happy days.

Only went in Oscar's once it was Sunday afternoon and some lads from Farnworth that I was working with at the time had hired the place for a private party as a send off for their mate who was joining the marines, they had strippers and comedian on and I was stood at the bar chatting to the marine and some of his mates when a big cheer went up and one lad told him not to turn around which he did to find his dad back scuttling one of the strippers. Farnworth lads eh.!
