So they've made the arrests and it's still not reached the threshold needed to ask the HS to cancel the march? Bloody woke police.

November 8, 20232 yr Enjoy Saturday anyway lads. Get yourselves a nice box of popcorn in, as it should be an entertaining one. I look forward to scrolling through the 'they should have bloody banned it posts' every time something dodgy happens. Hope that those out and about guarding the statues keep warm and have a good day out 👍 And jokes a side, all the best to those remembering on Sunday, wherever you're off to.

What you on about now 😂😂 it’s numb nuts wanting links to give to the police about arrest they have made for some odd reason. You would probably understand what he’s on about, I doubt anybody else on here would. Edited November 8, 20232 yr by royal white

The police have made the arrests (I still can't find this 100s figure - i've read about 29 last week, and a further 6) its not reached the point where they can/deem it worthy to ban the march. And so they haven't. I'm pretty sure most on here can understand that. Oh, and if you have this report on 100s arrested as I say be great to see as I've just not read about these sort of numbers, and I'd be interested to.

They’ve said they don’t have the necessary intel to prove serious risk this weekend A strange comparison your making tbh As someone who supports people's right to protest whenever they want, I'm surprised you're so at ease with protests being ended on the grounds of merely "keeping the peace" when no public order offences are thought to have occurred

There doesn’t need to be a certain number of arrests made on previous marches. 👍 It was on sky news, I’m sure if you look hard enough you will find it.

November 8, 20232 yr I quite enjoyed the character he played in Ideal Granted, he didn't write the material

Do you think it’s a daft law? That's very debatable. Even if the protest is majority peaceful (interesting that the wording has changed from peaceful) than there is a risk of disorder, especially if counter protestors arrive. Teresa May banned edl marches a while ago because of the risk of disorder, particularly because of the route. Which is a remarkably similar situation to what we have now. Yet more former officers (as high a dci) are openly stating that Rowley is wrong. He may be right, he may be wrong, or he may be being pulled in opposite directions by senior political figures, and fellow senior officers. Ultimately, we'll see what happens come Saturday- assuming there isn't a late change of heart.

Ta.👍 Yes, I meant the sitcom. 'There is No Escape'. It was aired in 2015, before he decided to chase the racist dollar and got dropped by his agent when all his live shows were cancelled. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06grjn7
